This event is going to be nothing short of huge!<\/p>\n<h2>WPT #20 \u2013 WPT Online Championship Day 1B: $5M Gtd<\/h2>\n<p>Another 782 players piled into the <strong>$3,200 buy-in WPT Online Championship on Day 1B<\/strong>, taking the total attendance to 1,590 with two starting days remaining. Day 1C starts today at 13:00 CET with a turbo Day 1D shuffling up at 18:00 CET.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leo Fernandez<\/strong> bagged up the most chips on Day 1B, his 620,258 stack enough to claim the overnight chip lead. It was a close call at the top of the counts with <strong>Brock Wilson<\/strong> (604,616), and <strong>Aram Zobain<\/strong> (602,449) each finishing with more than 600,000 chips.<\/p>\n<p>Plenty of other stars ended their Day 1B with a top 10 stack. <strong>Max Silver<\/strong> has done his chances of a deep run no harm at all after an excellent performance at the tables. Silver returns to the action with 573,747.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aaron Been<\/strong> (538,322) and <strong>Simon Pedersen<\/strong> (515,991) also sailed through the second flight of this $5 million guaranteed tournament.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 127 players punched their Day 2 tickets. <strong>Luc Greenwood<\/strong> (54,453), <strong>Marc-Andre Ladouceur<\/strong> (60,311) and <strong>Ema Zajmovic<\/strong> (62,000) are through but have plenty of work to do.<\/p>\n<p>Further up the chip counts you find <strong>Joao Ferreira<\/strong> (205,772), <strong>Mark Teltscher<\/strong> (218,520), and <strong>Sylvain Loosli<\/strong> (252,679). Sixty-nine players progressed to the final day with nine of them going home empty-handed.<\/p>\n<p>Team partypoker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/powerfest-round-up-near-misses-for-bicknell.html\"><strong>Kristen Bicknell<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/powerfest-round-up-fts-for-leonard-gross-and-simunic.html\"><strong>Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/powerfest-round-up-two-final-tables-for-romanello.html\"><strong>Roberto Romanello<\/strong><\/a> all cashed. As did the likes of <strong>Christopher Brammer<\/strong>, <strong>Niklas Astedt<\/strong>, <strong>Mohsin Charania<\/strong> and <strong>Zachary Clark<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Each of the six finalists padded their bankrolls with at least $40,062. This was the sum banked by <strong>Aliaksei Boika<\/strong>. <strong>Dimitar Danchev<\/strong> fell in fifth for $63,128 with <strong>Luc Greenwood<\/strong> walking away with $88,622 after busting in fourth-place.<\/p>\n<p>Third-place and $125,649 went to Alexandros Kolonias, which set up a heads-up battle between <strong>Eugenio Peralta<\/strong> and Peterman.
