Poland\u2019s <strong>Wiktor Malinowski<\/strong> got his hands on the biggest prize of the day, let\u2019s check out what he won and how.<\/p>\n<h2>WPT #29 \u2013 High Roller: $1M Gtd<\/h2>\n<p>A field of 115-players competed in the latest <strong>$10,300 High Roller<\/strong> event and created a guarantee-busting $1,150,000 prize pool. Only the top 16 finishers banked a slice of this money, so spare a thought for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/powerfest-round-up-kristen-bicknell-bags-46k.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Kristen Bicknell<\/strong><\/a> who fell in 19th place and narrowly missed out on yet another cash.<\/p>\n<p>While Bicknell\u2019s was a close call, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/ludovic-geilich-banks-81600-in-poker-master-event-13.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ludovic Geilich<\/strong><\/a> earned himself the unwanted title of bubble boy, crashing out in 17th place. Geilich\u2019s exit locked up no less than $23,000 for the surviving players. The likes of <strong>Viktor Blom<\/strong>,<strong> Dan Smith<\/strong>, <strong>Joao Vieira<\/strong> and <strong>Mark Radoja<\/strong> securing payouts.<\/p>\n<p>UK-based Spaniard Juan Pardo fell in ninth for $28,750 and the final table was set.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benjamin Rolle<\/strong>, a recent guest on <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/U_gH6EJIsXk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jaime Staples\u2019 Weekly Poker Showdown<\/strong><\/a>, was the first finalist to fall. Russian sensation <strong>Artur Martirosian<\/strong> was the next casualty before <strong>Giuseppe Iadisernia<\/strong> busted in sixth place.<\/p>\n<p>Next to fall were a pair of flying Finns. <strong>Elias Talvitie<\/strong> ran out of steam in fifth-place with fellow countryman <strong>Samuel Vousden<\/strong> banking $100,625 for his fourth-place demise, which was the first six-figure prize of the evening.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/lefrancois-bags-second-poker-masters-title.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Pascal Lefrancois<\/strong><\/a> put together yet another deep run but had to ultimately make do with the $143,750 third-place prize. The French-Canadian\u2019s exit set up an enticing heads-up clash between <strong>Nick Petrangelo<\/strong> and <strong>Wiktor Malinowski<\/strong>. The latter got the better of his opponent and collected the $281,750 top prize. Hewitt can count herself unlucky as she ran a set of sixes into a set of aces, ouch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ivan Deyra<\/strong> collected the first five-figure prize of the tournament, namely $15,238 before <strong>Laszlo Molnar<\/strong> fell by the wayside in fifth for $22,055. Fourth-place and $30,387 went to <strong>Alexandru Papazian<\/strong>, the Romanian is an incredible player who seems to go deep in tournaments when it matters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steven Van Zadelhoff<\/strong> crashed in third for $43,107 which left <strong>Fausto Tantillo<\/strong> and <strong>Gustavo Mastelotto<\/strong> to fight it out one-on-one for the title.
