The WPT500 crowned its champion, as did the PLO High Roller and a handful of other tournaments. Fabio Sperling won the WPT500 after a four-handed deal that saw more than $900,000 distributed! Let\u2019s take a closer look at how things went down.<\/p>\n<h2>WPT #03 \u2013 WPT500: $2M Gtd<\/h2>\n<p>The WPT500 ended in a four-handed chop that saw each of the four players win between $187,289 and $281,125.<\/p>\n<p>Before that deal could be struck, the final table had to be whittled down.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Guiseppe Vassallo<\/strong> of Germany busted in eighth and turned his $530 into $23,174. <strong>Daan Mulder<\/strong> of the Netherlands joined Vassallo on the rail with $35,799 reasons to be cheerful.<\/p>\n<p>Sixth-place and $50,887 went to Russia\u2019s <strong>Arutyun Saakyan<\/strong> before <strong>Philipp Dietrich<\/strong> of Germany collected $74,785 for his fifth place finish.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament was paused while the remaining four players looked at the numbers of an ICM-based deal. They liked the look of them, agreed to them, and the tournament concluded.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christopher Putz<\/strong> was the fourth place finisher when the dust had settled. He walked away $187,289 richer as part of the deal. <strong>Markus Prinz<\/strong> banked $202,012 and finished third, with <strong>Walter Treccarich<\/strong> scooping $235,666 for his second-place finish. Pantling played well and ran well to the point he had a 100 big blind stack when play was four-handed. The next largest stack of chips was worth 25 big blinds!<\/p>\n<p>He used that big stack to his advantage and became a WPT Online Series champion. Marcello Marigiliano was the runner-up, the UK-based grinder can\u2019t be too displeased with the $204,000 he collected for second-place.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier at the final table, <strong>Gavin Cochrane<\/strong> exited in sixth for $49,800 with Finnish superstar <strong>Jens Kyllonen<\/strong> reeling in the $75,000 fifth-place prize. His fellow Finns <strong>Saku Nasman<\/strong> and <strong>Arvi Vainionkulma<\/strong> were the first players to exit from the final table. They won $13,440 and $20,160 respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maksim Shuts<\/strong> banked $27,384 for his fourth-place finish from his home in Belarus, while Joao Vieira\u2019s superb form continued with a third-place finish here. This weighed in at $37,800.<\/p>\n<p>Heads-up pitted <strong>Farid Jattin<\/strong> and <strong>Kristoffer Edberg<\/strong> in a battle for the top prize. The duo decided to end the tournament prematurely via a deal.
