A massive $371,321 stands to be won, but who will get their hands on this life-changing prize?<\/p>\n<h2>WPT #03 \u2013 WPT500: $2M Gtd<\/h2>\n<p>The massive 4,828-strong field in the <strong>WPT500<\/strong> has been reduced to a more manageable nine players and <strong>Walter Treccarich<\/strong> is the man to catch when the tournament resumes at 21:00 CET on May 12.<\/p>\n<p>Treccarich has 18,966,747 chips when play restarts, which puts him narrowly ahead of <strong>Fabio Sperling<\/strong> who returns with 18,702,704 chips.<\/p>\n<p>Each of those nine returnees is guaranteed to walk away with at least $17,960 for their efforts. Anyone who reaches the eight-handed final table locks up $23,174. The biggest prizes, however, are reserved for the top four finishers.<\/p>\n<p>They all secure a six-figure prize, with the champion bragging rights along with a massive $371,321. Some 120-players paid $10,300 for the chance to win this event and <strong>Marcello Marigiliano<\/strong> is the man who leads the final six back into battle.<\/p>\n<p>Should Marigiliano come out on top, it will have been no mean feat because the final six is ridiculously stacked.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gavin Cochrane<\/strong> is there.
