This meant the $1 million guarantee was surpassed by $575,000.<\/p>\n<p>It also meant there was a $74,812 bubble to contend with. Canada\u2019s <strong>Guillaume Nolet<\/strong> was the unfortunate soul to bubble, his ninth-place exit proving quite expensive.<\/p>\n<p>Nolet\u2019s demise also set the final table where <strong>Koray Aldemir<\/strong>\u2019s appearance was short-lived. He collected $74,812 for his eighth-place finish. <strong>Eelis Parssinen<\/strong> scooped the same sum when his tournament ended in seventh-place, before <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/steve-odwyer-and-pauli-ayras-secure-huge-poker-masters-scores.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Steve O\u2019Dwyer<\/strong><\/a> added another $86,625 to the coffers after running out of steam in sixth place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matthias Eibinger<\/strong> locked up the first six-figure prize of the event, namely $110,250. <strong>Alex Foxen<\/strong> joined him on the rail soon after, doing so with a cool $141,750 payout. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/kanit-and-adams-crowned-poker-masters-champions.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Timothy Adams<\/strong><\/a> busted in third for $228,375 which left <strong>Artur Martirosian<\/strong> and <strong>Dan Smith<\/strong> to play one-on-one for the title.<\/p>\n<p>Smith defeated his Russian opponent and walked away with $511,875, leaving Martirosian to collect $346,500.<\/p>\n<h2>Poker Masters #22: $500K Gtd NLHE 6-Max<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-83811\" src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/event-22-600x447.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"447\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/event-22-300x224@2x.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/event-22-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/event-22.jpg 798w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Event 22 was another guarantee-buster with 77 players exchanging $10,400 for the chance to become a Poker Masters champion.<\/p>\n<p>Our very own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/mikita-badziakouski-takes-down-50k-super-high-roller-series-event.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Mikita Badziakouski<\/strong><\/a> finished in 13th place, which was unlucky because that was the last spot not receiving any prize money. Badziakouski\u2019s team-mate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/powerfest-round-up-near-misses-for-bicknell.html\"><strong>Kristen Bicknell<\/strong><\/a> min-cashed for $21,096 after falling in 12th.<\/p>\n<p>Two more Team partypoker players reached the money places too. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/powerfest-round-up-fts-for-leonard-gross-and-simunic.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s ninth-place finish was worth $25,025 while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/powerfest-round-up-jouhkimainen-locks-up-mix-max-title.html\"><strong>Joni Jouhkimainen<\/strong><\/a> finished in sixth and got his hands on another $32,725. It\u2019s been quite the month for our Finnish superstar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ali Imsirovic<\/strong> was the fifth-place finisher. He banked $48,125. <strong>David Peters<\/strong> joined Imsirovic on the sidelines, doing so with $67,375 in his wallet, before recent Poker Masters champion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/alexandros-kolonias-becomes-a-poker-masters-champion.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Alexandros Kolonias<\/strong><\/a> finished in third-place for $92,400.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/william-foxen-among-the-first-poker-master-online-championship.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Alex Foxen<\/strong><\/a> and <strong>Sebastian Lewin<\/strong> clashed heads-up in a battle of the Canadian flags. Lewin came out on top and turned his $10,300 into a most impressive $240,860, leaving Foxen to reel in $150,150.<\/p>\n<h2>Two More Massive Events On April 23<\/h2>\n<p>Another $25,500 buy-in event with $1 million guaranteed kicks off at 20:00 CET on April 23. This time it is a 6-max PLO event which is going to be insane! Two hours later, a 6-max NLHE event shuffles up and deals.
