It was taken down by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/joni-jouhkimainen\"><strong>Joni Jouhkimainen<\/strong><\/a> and the final table features two of our other pros!<\/p>\n<h2>POWERFEST: $75K Gtd 8-6 Mix-Max PKO Fast<\/h2>\n<p>Seventy-six players bought into this event for $1,050 and the final table was dominated by players sporting the famous orange diamond.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/ludovic-geilich\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ludovic Gelich<\/strong><\/a> saw his tournament end in a sixth-place finish. This netted the popular Scotsman $1,885 from the main prize pool plus an additional $3,103 from the bounty prize pool.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/roberto-romanello\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Roberto Romanello<\/strong><\/a> joined Geilich In the payouts. Fifth-place weighed in at a combined $4,723 for the Welsh Wizard. Then came the exit of <strong>Charlie Godwin<\/strong>, who was by far the last woman standing in this event. Godwin padded her partypoke bankroll with a total prize worth $4,662.<\/p>\n<p>Next came the elimination of one of the game\u2019s greats. Hungarian superstar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/poker-masters-victories-for-watson-and-nemeth.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Andras Nemeth<\/strong><\/a> fell in third and walked away with $9,532 in total. His exit set up a one-on-one battle between our very own Joni Jouhkimainen and Germany\u2019s <strong>Bernd Vogelhuber<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Jouhkimainen is enjoying a purple patch of form right now so it was no surprise he got his hands on the title and a combined top prize worth a cool $21,818. His sixth-place exit saw $5,310 make its way to his account. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/2017-caribbean-poker-party-day-5-chris-hunichen-wins-super-high-roller.html\"><strong>Chris Hunichen<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s impressive run ended in fifth place, a result that saw him collect $7,760.<\/p>\n<p>Fourth-place and the first five-figure prize, $10,620, went to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/christopher-frank-emerges-victorious-wpt-national-vienna.html\"><strong>Christopher Frank<\/strong><\/a> before <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/ludovic-geilich-banks-81600-in-poker-master-event-13.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ludovic Geilich<\/strong><\/a> scooped the $14,160 third-place prize. Geilich loves <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/partypoker-is-the-site-for-your-omaha-needs.html\">PLO<\/a> and it showed in this event with yet another deep run in a field against the world\u2019s best four-card players.<\/p>\n<p>Heads-up was a battle of South Americans with <strong>Juan Carlos Rincon<\/strong> of Panama taking on Brazil\u2019s <strong>Yuri Dzivielevski<\/strong>. Rincon was the man who came out of that clash with his hands on all the chip. Sadly, none of them could quite manage to win.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/powerfest-round-up-vamos-nomura-triumphs-again.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Renato Nomura<\/strong><\/a> busted in eighth-place and netted $6,740 before our Russian sensation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/anatoly-filatov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Anatoly Filatov<\/strong><\/a> busted in seventh for a combined $6,254.<\/p>\n<p><strong>David Peters<\/strong> is no stranger to major final tables but his run ended in sixth-place with <strong>Alex Foxen<\/strong> crashing out one place later in fifth. These high roller specialists saw $10,111 and $12,300 make its way to their partypoker accounts respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The last standing member of Team partypoker was Team Online\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/jeff-gross\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jeff Gross<\/strong><\/a>. He fell in fourth for a combined $10,434. Gross has been incredible during the POWERFEST but an outright victory still somehow eludes him.<\/p>\n<p>Chad Eveslage crashed out in third to set up the heads-up match against partypoker LIVE regular <strong>Pavel Plusev<\/strong> and British grinder <strong>Scott Margereson<\/strong>. The latter was the man who got his hands on the lion\u2019s share of the prize pool, namely $49,484.
