Sixty-eight players piled into the competition and created a $680,000 prize pool that was shared among the top nine finishers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stephen \u201cO\u2019Dwyer<\/strong> was the first player to get his hands on some cash, namely $24,727. The likes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/alexandros-kolonias-becomes-a-poker-masters-champion.html\"><strong>Alexandros Kolonias<\/strong><\/a>, and <strong>Lukas Nowakowski<\/strong> joined him on the rail, the latter bursting the final table bubble.<\/p>\n<p>What a final table it was with any of the six players reaching it being a superstar.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/poker-masters-victories-for-watson-and-nemeth.html\"><strong>Mike Watson<\/strong><\/a>, fresh from his victory earlier in the week, fell in sixth and secured a $30,600 prize. He was joined on the sidelines by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/william-foxen-among-the-first-poker-master-online-championship.html\"><strong>Alex Foxen<\/strong><\/a> whose fifth-place exit saw him add $44,200 to his ever-growing lifetime winnings.<\/p>\n<p>Then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/poker-masters-online-aussies-dominate-wins-for-addamo-and-burns.html\"><strong>Kahle Burns<\/strong><\/a> busted in fourth. Burns won a Poker Masters event on April 16 but had to make do with the $61,200 fourth-place prize this time around.<\/p>\n<p>Our very own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/powerfest-round-up-wins-for-geilich-and-nomura.html\"><strong>Ludovic Geilich<\/strong><\/a> was going great guns until his world came crashing down to bust in third place. This impress run saw Geilich pad his partypoker bankroll with $81,600.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Timothy Adams<\/strong> and Netherlands\u2019 <strong>Luuk Gieles<\/strong> were the last remaining players after Geilich\u2019s exit. It was the Dutchman who came out of the final battle unscathed and with $235,217 in prize money. Adams took home the $153,000 runner-up prize.<\/p>\n<h2>Poker Masters #12: $500K Gtd PLO 6-Max<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-83534\" src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/event-12-600x447.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"447\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/event-12-300x224@2x.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/event-12-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/event-12.jpg 798w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The field of the <strong>$10,300 Poker Masters #12: $500K Gtd PLO 6-Max<\/strong> read like a who\u2019s who of poker and it was Hungary\u2019s <strong>Bujtas Laszlo<\/strong> who was the star who emerged from the battle victoriously.<\/p>\n<p>The Hungarian saw off a talented bunch of players among the 87 entrants to turn his $10,300 in a cool $272,141. Laszlo defeated <strong>Ami Barer<\/strong> heads-up for the title, which resigned the Canadian to a $169,650 consolation prize.<\/p>\n<p>Norway\u2019s <strong>Andreas Torbergsen<\/strong> was the first of the six finalists to collect some prize money. He netted $36,975 after his tournament ended in sixth place. Fifth-place and $54,375 went to Sweden\u2019s <strong>Bengt Sonnert<\/strong> before <strong>Jorryt Van Hoof<\/strong> kept up his impressive form with a fourth-place finish worth $76m125.<\/p>\n<p>Malta\u2019s <strong>Carlo Van Ravensoud<\/strong> was the third-place finish.
