Team partypoker\u2019s Joni Jouhkimainen<\/strong><\/a> became a Poker Masters champion on April 15 and was joined in the winner\u2019s circle by Pascal Lefrancois<\/strong>, a former champion of the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Grand Final<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n

Poker Masters #08: $500K Gtd NLHE 8-Max<\/h2>\n

Poker Masters #08: $500K Gtd NLHE 8-Max<\/strong> attracted a field of 104 entrants who created a $1,040,000 prize pool. The top 16 finishers won a slice of the seven-figure prize pool, a min-cash weighing in at $20,800.<\/p>\n

The likes of Mike Watson<\/strong><\/a>, Sami Kelopuro<\/strong>, Benjamin Rolle<\/strong><\/a> and Chris Hunichen<\/strong><\/a> were among those who cashed. Huncihen burst the final table bubble and banked $26,000.<\/p>\n

2019 WSOP Main Event runner-up Dario Sammartino<\/strong> was the final table\u2019s first casualty. That finish netted the popular Italian $33,800. Alex Foxen<\/strong><\/a> then busted in seventh for $41,600 before Timothy Adams<\/strong> crashed out and collected $52,000.<\/p>\n

UK-based Spaniard Juan Pardo<\/strong> saw his tournament end in fifth-place for $67,600. He was joined by recent Poker Masters winner Elias Talvitie<\/strong> of Finland who scooped another $91,000.<\/p>\n

Another UK-based Spanish superstar, Sergi Rexiach<\/strong>, crashed out in third and secured a $130,000 payday. His exit set up a one-on-one battle between Andras Nemeth<\/strong> and our very own Joni Jouhkimainen<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Team partypoker pro sent Nemeth to the rail in second-place to secure the massive $254,800 top prize. Nemeth collected $182,000. It\u2019s been a superb week for Nemeth who was the runner-up in the Irish Open Main Event<\/strong> and won a Poker Masters events for scores of \u20ac325,423 and $259,628 respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Poker Masters #09: $500K Gtd NLHE 6-Max<\/h2>\n

We almost had a partypoker one-two to shout about because Kristen Bicknell<\/strong><\/a> navigated her way to the final table of the Poker Masters #09: $500K Gtd NLHE 6-Max<\/strong> while Jouhkimainen was on his way to victory in Event #08.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t meant to be, however, and Bicknell picked up the $93,600 third-place prize. Bicknell had already outlasted the likes of Dario Sammartino<\/strong>, Andras Nemeth and Fedor Holz at the final table, but ran out of steam at the end.<\/p>\n

Bicknell\u2019s exit set up an enticing clash between Justin Bonomo<\/strong> and Pascal Lefrancois<\/strong>. Bonomo tends to crush when he makes it to heads-up but Lefrancois is no pushover either. It was Lefrancois who emerged from the one-on-one battle victoriously and scooped $243,988. Bonomo headed off into the night with an additional $152,100 in his bankroll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
