That trio of high stakes tournaments paid out more than $2.9 million and <strong>William Foxen<\/strong> got his hands on a massive prize worth almost $310,000!<\/p>\n<h2>Poker Masters #03: $250K Gtd NLH 6-Max<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-83044\" src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/PM-Event-3-600x447.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"447\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/PM-Event-3-300x224@2x.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/PM-Event-3-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/PM-Event-3.jpg 798w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Event #3 had a $250,000 guarantee but $990,000 was paid out thanks to 99-players buying in for $10,300.<\/p>\n<p>Finland\u2019s <strong>Eelis Parssinen<\/strong> was the unfortunate soul who burst the bubble. His 13th place finish meaning the surviving players guaranteed themselves at least $27,124.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elio Fox<\/strong>, <strong>Justin Bonomo<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/2017-caribbean-poker-party-day-5-chris-hunichen-wins-super-high-roller.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Chris Hunichen<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>Juan Pardo Dominguez<\/strong> and <strong>Wiktor Malinowski<\/strong> all busted inside the money, but before the final table.<\/p>\n<p>Former Poker Masters champion <strong>Ali Imsirovic<\/strong> was the final table\u2019s first casualty. Sixth-place netted the talented high stakes specialist $42,075. Fifth-place and $61,875 went to <strong>Super High Roller Bowl Australia<\/strong> champion <strong>Timothy Adams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>British star <strong>Conor Beresford<\/strong> crashed out in fourth-place for $86,625 before the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/2019-cpp-day-8-mateos-main-event.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>2019 partypoker LIVE Caribbean Poker Party Main Event champion Adrian Mateos<\/strong><\/a> collected $118,800 for his third-place exit.<\/p>\n<p>Heads-up pitted Foxen against Russia\u2019s <strong>Artur Martirosian<\/strong>. No deal was struck despite there being more than $100,000 difference between first and second place. This mean Foxen banked $309,677 when he emerged from the battle victorious, leaving Martirosian to walk away with $193,050.<\/p>\n<h2>Poker Masters #01: $1M Gtd NLH 8-Max<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-83032\" src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/PM-Event-1-600x447.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"447\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/PM-Event-1-300x224@2x.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/PM-Event-1-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/PM-Event-1.jpg 798w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The opening Poker Masters event was a $25,500 buy-in affair with $1 million guaranteed. Some 55 entries were processed and a $1,375,000 prize pool created.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Timothy Adams<\/strong> busted in eighth-place and burst the money bubble. <strong>Juan Pardo Dominguez<\/strong> collected the seventh-place prize, namely $65,312 before <strong>Chris Hunichen<\/strong> banked $79,062 for his sixth-place finish.<\/p>\n<p>United Kingdom-based Australian <strong>Michael Addamo<\/strong> fell in fifth and won $96,250, the last player not to reel in six-figures for their $25,500 investment. The first $100,000+ winner was Canada\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/sam-greenwood-wins-another-millions-title-takes-down-e50k-shr.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Sam Greenwood<\/strong><\/a> who got his hands on $123,750 when his tournament ended abruptly in fourth-place.<\/p>\n<p>Germany superstar <strong>Ole Schemion<\/strong> couldn\u2019t quite get the job done and had to make do with the $206,250 third-place prize. Schemion\u2019s exit left <strong>Sergi Reixach<\/strong> and <strong>Elias Talvitie<\/strong> to battle it out one-on-one for the huge top prize.<\/p>\n<p>It was Finland\u2019s Talvitie who was the last man standing, hit reward was a cool $481,250. Reixach, who won British Poker Open event in September 2019, consoled himself with a bankroll-boosting runner-up prize of $323,125.<\/p>\n<h2>Poker Masters #02: $500K PLO 6-Max<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-83038\" src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/PM-Event-2-600x447.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"447\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/PM-Event-2-300x224@2x.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/PM-Event-2-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/PM-Event-2.jpg 798w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The first of the PLO Poker Masters events was a $10,300 buy-in that attracted 55 entrants. The bubble boy was our very own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/powerfest-round-up-wins-for-geilich-and-nomura.html\"><strong>Ludovic Geilich<\/strong><\/a> who saw his tournament end in 10th place.<\/p>\n<p>Finnish pro <strong>Jukka Paloniemi<\/strong> collected the first prize, his ninth-place exit securing a prize weighing in at $20,000. This is the same prize Team partypoker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/march-madness-team-partypoker-is-on-fire.html\"><strong>Sam Trickett<\/strong><\/a> collected for his eighth-place finish and what Robinson Morales banked for seventh-place.<\/p>\n<p>Another Finn, <strong>Kai Lehto<\/strong>, won $24,750 when they finished in sixth-place. Arguably the greatest PLO player of all time, <strong>Ola Amundsgaard<\/strong>, saw their tournament end in fifth-place, a finish worth $35,750.<\/p>\n<p>High stakes cash game regular <strong>Matthew Kirk<\/strong> won $49,500 from The Bahamas, before <strong>Espen Myrmo<\/strong> busted in third for $66,000, setting heads-up.<\/p>\n<p>The final clash saw <strong>James Akenhead<\/strong> lock horns with Germany\u2019s <strong>Tobias Ziegler<\/strong>. Ziegler defeated Akenhead and resigned him to a $123,750 consolation prize while Ziegler got his hands on an impressive $190,249.<\/p>\n<h2>Two More Poker Masters Event Play Out Today<\/h2>\n<p>There are a brace of Poker Masters tournaments scheduled for April 13. Event #5 is the $500K Gtd NLH 8-Max which commands a $10,300 buy-in. It starts at 20:00 CET.<\/p>\n<p>Event #6 is a $10,300 buy-in 6-Max NLH tournament with $500,000 guaranteed starting at 22:00 CET.
