It was an especially good day for Brazilian sensation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/joao-simao\"><strong>Joao Simao<\/strong><\/a> who managed to take down a <strong>$109 Mix-Max PKO<\/strong>, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/jeff-gross\"><strong>Jeff Gross<\/strong><\/a> reached another two final tables.<\/p>\n<h2>POWERFEST: $75K Gtd 8-6 Mix-Max PKO<\/h2>\n<p>A field of 747 players bought into the <strong>$75K guaranteed 8-6 Mix-Max<\/strong> event and it was one of our own who was the last player standing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/20m-gtd-powerfest-two-final-tables-for-simao.html\"><strong>Joao \u201cbrjoaosimao\u201d Simao<\/strong><\/a> found himself heads-up against <strong>\u201cNOREGRTS\u201d<\/strong> for the title and the lion\u2019s share of the bounty prize pool. Simoa sent NOREGRTS to the rail and got his hands on the $5,247 top prize plus an additional $5,404 worth of bounties. The runner-up walked away with $5,239 richer plus an extra $605 from the bounty prize pool.<\/p>\n<p>Simao is well into double figures when it comes to POWERFEST wins. The popular Team Online grinder reached yet another final table, this time in the $530 buy-in <strong>$70K Gtd 6-Max Deepstack<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cMadgenius111\u201d<\/strong>, <strong>\u201cSCUGN1ZZ\u201d<\/strong> and <strong>\u201cDontDo_IT\u201d<\/strong> all busted from the final table and collected prizes of $4,620, $6,930 and $9.297 respectively. This left three players in the hunt for the title, Gross among them.<\/p>\n<p>Gross ran out of steam and fell in third-place. This result netted him another $12,727. Amazingly, Gross also finished second in <strong>POWERFEST: $100K 6-Max PKO<\/strong> for $11,827 plus $1,204 worth of bounties. Surely a victory is only around the corner?<\/p>\n<p>Heads-up pitted <strong>\u201cunluckymelon\u201d<\/strong> and <strong>\u201csalmonfishing\u201d<\/strong> together for the $24,142 top prize. Our hero navigated his way to a star-studded final table before falling in fourth-place for $9,502 plus $2,887 from the bounty prize pool.<\/p>\n<p>Before Leonard\u2019s demise, <strong>\u201cTalespin\u201d<\/strong> crashed out in sixth for $4,615 plus $1,312. <strong>\u201cWhoo0ps\u201d<\/strong> followed suit after slipping up, fifth-place yielded $6,787 plus $6,103.<\/p>\n<p>The super talented <strong>\u201cPayAndPlay\u201d<\/strong> was the penultimate elimination. Third-place saw them win $13,031 and add $1,312 to that prize from the bounty prize pool.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201crelentless\u201d<\/strong> was the last player standing on this occasion after they busted <strong>\u201cDandelion32892\u201d<\/strong> at the final hurdle.
