The talented duo navigated their way to another final table each and both walked away with almost $20,000 to show for their efforts.<\/p>\n<h2>POWERFEST: $100K Gtd 8-6 Mix-Max Deepstack<\/h2>\n<p>Our Mix-Max tournaments are popular with our players thanks to them having the unique twist of switching table sizes during the event. This $100,000 guaranteed Mix-max, which had a $129,000 prize pool, went from eight-handed to six-handed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cDhr. Dogsome\u201d<\/strong> reached the final table but their time there was short-lived as they fell in sixth, a finish worth $5,160. \u201cPabloPotato\u201d busted in fifth for $7,740 before <strong>\u201cTheMightyHorse\u201d<\/strong> was put out to pasture in fourth-place for a $10,384 addition to their bankroll.<\/p>\n<p>Heads-up was set when <strong>\u201cShipAndDate\u201d<\/strong> shipped in their stack and lost. Third-place in this tournament yielded a $14,215 score. ShipAndDate\u2019s exit left Team partypoker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/powerfest-round-up-wins-for-geilich-and-nomura.html\"><strong>Renato \u201crenato_nomura\u201d Nomura<\/strong><\/a> and <strong>\u201cSunTzu\u201d<\/strong> to fight it out heads-up.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately for our hero, Nomura couldn\u2019t get the job done and fell in second place. It looked like he may go all the way at one stage but it wasn\u2019t meant to be.<\/p>\n<p>A host of stars fell in succession, including the extremely talented Swede <strong>\u201cGreenstone25\u201d<\/strong> who crashed in fourth-place. Greenstone25 saw their bankroll increase by $12,725 from the main prize pool and an additional $3,445 worth of bounty payments.<\/p>\n<p>This left Gross in the final three and within touching distance of the title. Gross, however, came unstuck and had to console himself with a third-place prize worth $17,965 which was bolstered by $918 from the bounty prize pool.<\/p>\n<p>Heads-up pitted <strong>\u201cNOLIMITHOLDEM\u201d<\/strong> against <strong>\u201cgastrader\u201d<\/strong> in a battle where the final bounty payment weighed in at almost as much as first and second place payments combined!<\/p>\n<p>gastrader busted in second-place and won the $24,689 runner-up prize plus $8,547 worth of bounties. This PLO POWERFEST event commanded a $5,200 buy-in, which was paid by 48-entrants. These stars went to battle in an attempt to secure a slice of the guarantee-busting $240,000 prize pool.<\/p>\n<p>Only the final table of six won some prize money for their efforts. <strong>\u201cTiltargh\u201d<\/strong> was the unfortunate soul who burst the money bubble, falling in seventh-place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cTheCleaner11_\u201d<\/strong> won the first slice of the pie, namely $12,973, after crashing out in sixth. <strong>\u201cCarnotaurus\u201d<\/strong> and <strong>\u201cpkrbt\u201d<\/strong> joined TheCleaner11_ on the rail, doing so with prizes worth $16,800 and $21,600 resepctively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cSan holo1\u201d<\/strong> saw their tournament come to an abrupt end in third-place.
