Our Belarusian hero is the latest player to win a partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Super High Roller Series Sochi<\/strong><\/a> event, doing so in the $50,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold\u2019em tournament.<\/p>\n

Forty-five players bought into the $50,000 NL Hold\u2019em<\/strong> event to create a $2,250,000 prize pool. Those 45 hopefuls were whittled down to the final seven during the first day\u2019s action.<\/p>\n

Hot-running Australian Kahle Burns<\/strong> was the unfortunate soul who burst the bubble. Burns raised with , Badziakouski three-bet all-in with and Burns called. The board ran to send Burns home in eighth and the tournament into the money places.<\/p>\n

That hand also ensured Badziakouski finished Day 1 as the tournament\u2019s chip leader, an enviable position to be in.<\/p>\n

Early Elimination at the Final Table<\/h2>\n

Wiktor Malinowski<\/strong> was eliminated from the final table on the second hand of the day. The Polish star\u2019s proving to be no match for the dominating of Artur Martirosyan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

PokerGO co-founder Cary Katz<\/strong> followed Malinowski to the rail in sixth-place. You have to win your coinflips if you want to win poker tournaments, Katz didn\u2019t win this one. Sam Greenwood<\/strong><\/a> open-shoved with and Katz called all-in with . A jack on the flop was enough to gift Greenwood the pot and reduce the player count by one.<\/p>\n

Greenwood looked back in contention thanks to Katz\u2019s chips but his revival was short-lived. The Canadian opened from the cutoff with , Badziakouski three-bet fro the small blind with and called when Greenwood jammed. Greenwood paired his queen on the flop, but Badziakouski\u2019s kings held to leave Greenwood with a nano-stack.<\/p>\n

The rest of Greenwood\u2019s chips went into the middle with . Martirosyan called with ace-seven and proceeded to flop trip aces. Game over for Greenwood.<\/p>\n

Badziakouski then claimed the tournament life of Aaron Van Blarcum<\/strong>. Van Blarcum\u2019s three-bet shove over a Badziakouski raise was made with . Unfortunately Van Blarcum, Badziakouski had initially opened with . Neither player paired their hole cards on the board and the tournament was left with only three players in the hunt for the top prize.<\/p>\n

Heads-Up Set<\/h2>\n

Those three became two when Luc Greenwood<\/strong> came unstuck. Martirosyan raised from the cutoff before calling Greenwood\u2019s push all-in. Greenwood flipped over and was up against his Russian opponent\u2019s . An ace on the turn of the board left Greenwood drawing dead.<\/p>\n

There was nothing to split Badziakouski and Martirosyan going into the heads-up battle. Badziakouski drew first blood before pressing on for a 5,300,000 to 1,455,000 chip advantage.<\/p>\n

Martirosyan managed to double but it was in vain.<\/p>\n

The final hand saw Martirosyan limp-call on the button with . Badziakouski was sat with in the hole. A flop looked perfect for Martirosyan. It looked even better when Badziakouski led for 220,000. Martirosyan raised to 540,000 and our hero called.<\/p>\n

The turn was greeted with a check from the Team partypoker star. Martirosyan moved all-in for 1,280,000, sending Badziakouski into the tank.<\/p>\n

After much deliberation, Badziakouski said, \u201cI\u2019m a fish, I call\u201d and made the call. He had 11 outs on the river to win the hand, any heart and any eight. It was the former, the , that won the hand for our hero, wrapping up the tournament in spectacular style.<\/p>\n

This latest victory takes Badziakouski\u2019s live winnings to $26,897,271, enough for 16th place in the all-time listings.<\/p>\n
