Anton Suarez<\/strong> is the 2020 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS UK Main Event<\/strong> champion and, therefore, recipient of a massive $1 million. Suarez has $228,821 in live tournament cashes before this huge event but now has a seven-figure prize to his name, plus the shiny MILLIONS UK trophy.<\/p>\n

Some 530 players parted company with $10,300 and created a $5,141,000 prize pool that was shared among the top 76 finishers.<\/p>\n

Such luminaries as Dara O\u2019Kearney<\/strong>, Joao Vieira<\/strong>, reigning WSOP Main Event champion Hossein Ensan<\/strong>, and Faraz Jaka<\/strong> made it into the money. As did Jack Sinclair<\/strong>, Adrian Mateos<\/strong><\/a>, and team partypoker\u2019s Jeff Gross<\/strong><\/a>, Roberto Romanello<\/strong><\/a>, Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a>, and Ludovic Geilich<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Geilich went the deepest of our team, making it through to the final day\u2019s action where only 12 players remained in the hunt for the $1 million top prize. Unfortunately for Geilich, he crashed out in 11th place after losing a huge pot to Christian Rudolph<\/strong>. He busted, to Rudolph, soon after.<\/p>\n

Two players then busted on the same hand to set the final table. Jaime O\u2019Connor<\/strong> opened to 10,000,000 with on the button, more than half of his stack. Rudolph moved all-in for 42,000,000 with and Alex Lindop<\/strong> called all-in for 16,800,000. O\u2019Connor tossed in calling chips.<\/p>\n

Rudolph caught a king on the turn to bust both Lindop and O\u2019Connor.<\/p>\n

MILLIONS UK Final Table Set<\/h2>\n

Maria Lampropulos<\/strong> was the first casualty of the final table. The former MILLIONS UK champion three-bet all-in with ace-queen when Jack Hardcastle<\/strong> opened with pocket nines. Hardcastle called and his nines held true to send Lampropulos to the rail in eighth-place.<\/p>\n

Hardcastle couldn\u2019t put those chips to good use and he fell in seventh-place for $100,000, the first six-figure prize of the tournament. Hardcastle got his chips into the middle with a huge pot growing. He held on a flop against Rudolph\u2019s . Hardcastle had a plethora of outs, which all missed as the turn and river came and .<\/p>\n

Rudolph then sent Weijie Zheng<\/strong> to the showers. Everyone folded to Zheng in the small blind and he jammed with the lowly . Rudolph tank-called with and won the hand with an ace on the turn.<\/p>\n

Fifth-place went to Sweden\u2019s Frederik Andersson<\/strong> who jammed with from the hijack. Suarez called on the button with before James Romero decided to fold his . The board ran to reduce the player count by one.<\/p>\n

$85 to $311,000<\/h2>\n

Then came the success story of the tournament. James \u201cRaggy\u201d Clarke<\/strong>, a popular figure at Dusk Till Dawn, won his seat from an $85 satellite and turned that into $311,000. Clarke got his chips into the middle of a board with and Suarez called with . The river gifted Suarez a flush and broke the heart of Clarke and his legion of fans. Good game.<\/p>\n

The final three became two with the elimination of American James Romero<\/strong>. All the chips went into the middle on a flop, Romero holding and Suarez for a set. Romero picked up a flush draw on the turn but missed a myriad of outs on the river to bust in third-place.<\/p>\n

Heads-up was played at a frantic pace and was highly entertaining. The battle came to a conclusion with Rudolph short stacked. Suarez limped with and Rudolph jammed with . Suarez called and watched as the dealer fanned the , busting Rudolph and leaving a delighted Suarez to walk away as the tournament\u2019s champion.<\/p>\n
