After losing a massive pot to Filatov, Hunichen was left nursing a very short stack. The rest of Hunichen\u2019s chips went into the middle with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/as.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/js.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and <strong>Kahle Burns<\/strong> called with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. The board ran <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/th.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ts.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/9c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> to bust Hunichen.<\/p>\n<p>Filatov sent <strong>Chin Wei Lim<\/strong> home in eighth-place when his <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/js.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> prevailed against <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/5c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> to leave only seven player in the tournament. Those seven became six when <strong>Anthony Zinno<\/strong> looked down at <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and had a relatively easy call to make when <strong>Kristina Holst<\/strong> shoved from middle position. Holst showed <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and had Zinno slightly covered. Zinno was drawing dead by the turn because Holst hit an unlikely straight.<\/p>\n<h2>Jouhkimainen Busts In Sixth-Place For $60,000<\/h2>\n<p>Team partypoker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/joni-jouhkimainen\"><strong>Joni Jouhkimainen<\/strong><\/a> ran out of steam and fell in sixth-place. Jouhkimainen was all-in with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> against the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> of Burns. The <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> flop gave Burns two pair and our man a flush draw. Unfortunately, Jouhkimainen couldn\u2019t find a heart on the turn or river and had to make do with a $60,000 haul.<\/p>\n<p>By this stage, Filatov had accumulated slightly more than 40% of the total chips in play and found himself in a dominant position. He took a brief pause from constantly chipping up to watch <strong>Fabrizio Gonzalez<\/strong> send the United Kingdom\u2019s <strong>Scott Margereson<\/strong> to the cashier\u2019s desk. Again, it was a coinflip that sealed a tournament player\u2019s fate. Margereson was all in with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> against <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. A king on the flop was more than enough to end Margereson\u2019s impressive run.<\/p>\n<p>Burns, who won two WSOP bracelets this year, crashed out in fourth-place at the hands of Holst, before Holst herself busted when her <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> proved no match for Filatov\u2019s <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/js.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. This hand sent the tournament into the heads-up stage where Filatov lead Gonzalez by 101,400,000 to 23,600,000 chips.<\/p>\n<p>The final hand saw Filatov limp on the button with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/5h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and Gonzalez check his option while holding <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/as.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/5s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. Gonzalez check-called a pot-sized bet on the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/4h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> flop. The <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/2h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> turn saw Gonzalez check again, Filatov fired a 3,500,000 bet and Gonzalez check-raised to 8,000,000. Filatov jammed all-in and Gonzalez snap-called with his straight, but Filatov held the nuts. The <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/td.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> completed the board, busted Gonzalez and left Filatov to be crowned the $10,300 MILLIONS High Roller champion.<\/p>\n<h2>Koon Cashes in Seventh in Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-78181\" src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/49086349288_e81edc4352_k-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"Jason Koon\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/49086349288_e81edc4352_k-300x200@2x.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/49086349288_e81edc4352_k-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/49086349288_e81edc4352_k.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/49086349288_e81edc4352_k-600x400@2x.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>While Filatov has Lady Luck in his corner, she forgot to give teammate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/jason-koon\"><strong>Jason Koon<\/strong><\/a> a helping hand. Koon went into the final table of the $250,000 Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas second in chips but was the second player to bust.<\/p>\n<p>Koon flopped bottom set against <strong>Daniel Dvoress<\/strong> and bet both the flop and turn. Dvoress, holding queen-ten, check-called on both occasions and improved to a flush on the turn. It was a substantial pot to hand for Koon to hand over and he never fully recovered, eventually busting in seventh-place for $637,500.<\/p>\n<p>At least Koon can have some consolation in that his chips went to good use because Dvoress went all the way and took down the massive event, turning his second $250,000 bullet into a career-best score of $4,080,000. Shortly after his victory, Dvoress spoke to the PokerGO team and said, &#8220;This is the most prepared I\u2019ve felt for a tournament relative to the rest of the field. I felt really comfortable all day and coasted through it without emotional swings. Why? Because it is Team partypoker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/josip-simunic\"><strong>Josip Simunic<\/strong><\/a>. Our Austrian pro has 61,000,000 chips and is in a great position to secure the $165,000 top prize.<\/p>\n<p>The returning field is stacked with elite poker players. These include <strong>Vlad Darie<\/strong>, <strong>Christopher Brammer<\/strong>, former WSOP Main Event champions <strong>Joe Cada<\/strong> and <strong>Ryan Riess<\/strong>, <strong>Guillaume Diaz<\/strong>, <strong>Joseph Cheong<\/strong> and our very own <strong>Jeff Gross<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Gross headed to The Bahamas after playing Day 1 and 2 of this event online at partypoker.
