Three huge events kicked off and the poker room at the Baha Mar Resort was packed with some of the world\u2019s elite poker players. Here\u2019s how Day 1 went down.<\/p>\n<h2>Jouhkimainen, Filatov and Bicknell Bag in the High Roller<\/h2>\n<p>Forty-four players made it through Day 1 of the $10,300 MILLIONS High Roller from a field of 54. With $1 million guaranteed, there\u2019s a ton of value awaiting anyone who buys in on Day 2 that stars at 14:00 local time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kristen Bicknell<\/strong> finished Day 1 in the middle of the pack after bagging up 1,290,000 chips at the close of play. Bicknell recently won a $25,000 No-Limit Hold\u2019em event at the 2019 Poker Masters for a career-best $408,000 and is gunning for more glory in this event.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qQSZu8qQhj8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Bicknell\u2019s teammate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/anatoly-filatov\"><strong>Anatoly Filatov<\/strong><\/a> also punched his Day 2 ticket and returns to the fray armed with 928,000 chips, good for 58 big blinds and 34th place at the restart. These include <strong>Manig Loeser<\/strong>, <strong>Rainer Kempe<\/strong>, <strong>Peter Jetten<\/strong>, <strong>Andras Nemeth<\/strong>, and<strong> Ema Zajmovic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Leading the way is Spain\u2019s <strong>Javier Alonso<\/strong> who finished Day 1 with 3,385,000 chips. The Spaniard is closely followed by <strong>Jack Sinclair<\/strong> and our very own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/joni-jouhkimainen\"><strong>Joni Jouhkimainen<\/strong><\/a> who has 2,930,000 chips at his disposal. Jouhkimainen padded his bankroll with \u20ac63,200 in September when he took down a \u20ac5,100 event in his native Helsinki. Tureneic took down the <strong>WPTDeepStacks<\/strong> event at Dusk Till Dawn in October for $105,000 and has continued his form in The Bahamas.<\/p>\n<p>Former Irish Open champion <strong>Peter Clarke<\/strong> is second in chips while British duo Niall Farrell and Steven Warburton find themselves in the top 10. Farrell, of course, has previous in the Caribbean having won the WPT Caribbean Main Event in 2016 for $335,000.<\/p>\n<p>Some 212 players made it through from the 304 who started.
