The Basilica de la Sagrada Familia<\/strong>, to give it its full title, is an unfinished masterpiece by legendary Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi<\/strong>. Construction began in March 1882 and it is still only three-quarters completed; only one-quarter was finished before Gaudi\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

It really is a sight to behold and there is nothing even remotely like it anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n

Head to the Beach!<\/h2>\n

Away from the bustling city is 100 miles of coastline to enjoy and what does coastline mean? Beaches!<\/strong> It probably won\u2019t be red hot in late October, but the temperature should still be around the 20C or 70F in old money!<\/p>\n

Make it to the top of the hill to find a 17th-century fortress that was part of the Catalan Revolt in the 1600s<\/strong>. The views from here are spectacular to say the least.<\/p>\n
