If Staples won, his bounty payment would be more than twice the size. A field of 147 players took part in the $1,050 buy-in event. Only 20 of those receive a share of the main prize pool, although everyone had the chance to accumulate some substantial bounty payments.<\/p>\n<p>Victory in this tournament was worth a combined $36,695, made up of $12,987 for first place and $23,708 worth of bounties. Those bounties included the one on the head of <strong>\u201cBreakingTheLAW\u201d<\/strong> who fell in second-place. They had netted $8,563 from the bounty prize pool along the way to their runner-up finish.<\/p>\n<p>Fourth-place finisher <strong>\u201cNostatsNograts\u201d<\/strong> won the third-most bounties with $3,152 for a total prize of $9,838, only $251 less than third-place finisher <strong>\u201cDvaSlona\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Shout out also to <strong>\u201cBaccarat\u201d<\/strong> who has three KO Series titles to their name already.
