Triton Poker\u2019s \u00a31,050,000 buy-in \u201cTriton Million – A Helping Hand for Charity Event\u201d takes place in London from August 1-3, 2019<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

partypoker LIVE<\/strong> will team up with the Triton Poker Series<\/strong> to host the biggest buy-in event in poker history this summer.<\/p>\n

The Triton Super High Roller Series London<\/strong> will run from July 31 to August 8, 2019 at London\u2019s iconic Hilton Hotel in Park Lane. Headlining the nine-day festival is the ground-breaking \u201cTriton Million – A Helping Hand for Charity Event\u201d, scheduled for August 1-3. The \u00a31,050,000 entry fee makes it the biggest buy-in ever seen for a single poker tournament, exceeding the previous record held for a buy-in by The Big One for One Drop that ran in Monte Carlo in 2016.<\/p>\n

Each \u00a31,000,000 buy-in for the event comes with an additional \u00a350,000 charity donation, assuring several million pounds for a variety of worthwhile UK and Asian-based causes including \u2018REG\u2019 and the \u2018Caring for Children Foundation\u2019.<\/p>\n

In a unique twist, the entire field will consist exclusively of either invited businessmen\/recreational player, or professional poker players, who will be pooled solely against other players in their category for the opening six levels. After this time the two fields will merge and the tournament will play out to a winner as normal.<\/p>\n

A committee will determine which players fall under the categories of \u201cRecreational Player\/Businessman\u201d or \u201cGuest Player\/ Professional Poker Player\u201d, with some of the game\u2019s biggest high rollers expected in London for the \u00a31M+ buy-in event. Tom Dwan<\/strong>, David Peters<\/strong> and Jason Koon<\/strong>, co-sponsored by partypoker and Triton Poker, will battle against eminent businessmen including Paul Phua<\/strong> and Bobby Baldwin<\/strong> in the British capital.<\/p>\n

To retain the prestige of the tour\u2019s events, players will be forbidden from wearing hats, hoodies or sunglasses and will not be allowed to hide any part of their body from the neck up, while every final tablist will be asked to reassemble dressed in formal attire.<\/p>\n

Triton Poker is also offering free accommodation for all invited players who confirm their attendance prior to the event.<\/p>\n
