$500K \u2018Race to Alias\u2019 giveaway<\/a> will reward players who choose new alias on the day<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

partypoker plans to release its next major software update for the global dotcom client on 17 June 2019<\/strong>, and as part of the update all players will be required to select a new alias (player name).<\/p>\n

From 09:00 BST (10:00 CET) on June 17, players will be presented with a pop-up window the very next time they log into the client, prompting them to select a new alias<\/strong>. Player names are subject to the site\u2019s usual rules about \u2018appropriate language\u2019, with certain words and phrases blocked, and will be available on a first come, first served basis.<\/p>\n

To mark the update, partypoker is hosting a time-limited $500K \u2018Race to Alias\u2019 giveaway<\/strong><\/a> for all dotcom players (excluding those in Czech Republic and Sweden), running for 24-hours only on June 17.<\/p>\n

Open to real money accounts only, the promotion is split into three separate strands. \u2018Login Click Cards<\/strong>\u2019 will award random prizes worth up to $10,000 in cash<\/strong> to players after choosing their new alias, while the site will also give away between $10,000 and $40,000 in \u2018Hourly Click Cards\u2019<\/strong> for earning at least 0.10 in loyalty points per hour. In addition, \u2018$10K Freerolls\u2019<\/strong> are scheduled to run exclusively for players who earn qualifying tickets via either the \u2018Login\u2019 or \u2018Hourly\u2019 Click Card offers.<\/p>\n

Overall, the promotion is set to pay out over $500,000 in free prizes for those who choose their new player name within the allotted 24-hour promotional window. partypoker players in Czech Republic can claim a shared $25,000 in prizes through their own dedicated version of the Race to Alias campaign.<\/p>\n
