Even professional poker players try to maximise their return on investment (ROI) by playing satellites to higher buy-in tournaments. That includes Team partypoker\u2019s Louise \u201clou045\u201d Butler<\/strong><\/a> who won a $530 KO Series ticket from a $44 buy-in satellite before going on to finish fifth in the target event.<\/p>\n

Team partypoker\u2019s Louise \u201clou045\u201d Butler<\/strong> turned her $44 satellite ticket into more than $4,500 by navigating her way to the final table of the $530 buy-in KO Series #44-HR: $100K Gtd 8-Max<\/strong> event.<\/p>\n

Butler\u2019s impressive run came to an end with a fifth place finish that saw her secure a $3,084 prize from the main prize pool plus an additional $1,427 from the bounty prize pool.<\/p>\n

The eventual winner was the Austrian star known as \u201cSchelampigaUhu\u201d<\/strong>. The Austrian turned their $530 into more than $18,500 made up of the $8,459 first place prize and $10,110 worth of bounties, including that on the head of runner-up \u201cCurvez\u201d<\/strong> of Sweden who walked way with more than $12,500 for their second place finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The biggest prize of the day went to Uruguay\u2019s \u201cmbtremendo\u201d<\/strong> who took down the $2,100 buy-in KO Series #42-HR: $500K Gtd 8-Max<\/strong> event for more than $100,000. The Uruguayan banked the $41,337 top prize after defeating \u201csavageplenty\u201d of Bulgaria heads-up. Our champion boosted their top prize with $58,882 worth of bounty payments for a total score worth $100,219.<\/p>\n

Nobody at the eight-handed final table won less than $10,500 thanks to the huge bounties involved. Our bounties are larger than most, as a rule, as we do not charge any rake on the bounty element of the buy-in; this also makes our overall rake lower and our PKO events better value.<\/p>\n

The $250,000 advertised guarantee of the KO Series #42-H: $250K Gtd 8-Max<\/strong> event was smashed as 955 players bought in for $320 and created a $294,140 prize pool.<\/p>\n

Argentina\u2019s \u201cNemesis_25\u201d<\/strong> was top dog in this event, coming out on top for a $19,715 first place prize and a $15,957 bounty payment. The Argentinian defeated \u201cFedex18\u201d<\/strong> heads-up fr the title, resigning the runner-up to $19,686 plus $3,408 from the bounty prize pool.<\/p>\n

It was a tough final table with two of Sweden\u2019s top players making their way to it. \u201cAlgorhytm\u201d<\/strong> fell in eighth place for a combined prize worth more than $5,200 and KO Series champion “HellmuthTheGr8”<\/strong><\/a> busted in fourth place for $8,839 plus $896 worth of bounties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
