The $30 million guaranteed KO Series<\/strong><\/a> continued on May 22nd with Day 11 of the festival. Thirteen more champions were crowned and $1,398,031 was paid out, including a chunk to Team partypoker\u2019s Joao Simao<\/strong><\/a> who navigated his way to a final table of a $320 buy-in event.<\/p>\n

Bosnia and Herzegovina\u2019s \u201cMr.Master98\u201d<\/strong> took down the $1,050 buy-in KO Series #39-HR: $300K Gtd Mix-Max<\/strong> event for more than $50,000.<\/p>\n

The Bosnian topped a field of 290 to get their hands on $24,630 from the main prize pool plus $23,597 from the bounty prize pool and, of course, bragging rights that there were now a KO Series champion.<\/p>\n

Team partypoker\u2019s Fedor Holz<\/strong><\/a> burst the final table bubble, finishing in seventh place, before Lithuania\u2019s \u201cBarsukeenf\u201d crashed out in sixth place for more than $10,000. The Lithuanian was joined on the rail by \u201cL_Segovia\u201d of the Netherlands and Russia\u2019s \u201cjustkot\u201d before \u201cDork Pork\u201d busted in third place from their home in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Heads-up saw Mr.Master98 take on \u201cdealD2toU\u201d<\/strong> of Finland and it was a battle they emerged victorious from, resigning the runner-up to $24,600 plus a bounty payment of $12,644.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Team partypoker\u2019s Joao \u201cjoaosimaobh\u201d Simao<\/strong> reached the final table of the $320 buy-in KO Series #39-H: $200K Gtd Mix-Max<\/strong> event but, unfortunately for him, he couldn\u2019t quite finish the job.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian sensation had to make do with a sixth place finish that was worth $4,069 from the main prize pool; Simao also banked $6,738 worth of bounties along the way.<\/p>\n

Following Simao to the sidelines was \u201cmilksqueezer\u201d<\/strong> of the UK whose fifth place finish won them more than $$8,700 and they were joined in the role of spectator first by \u201cDasROHR\u201d<\/strong> of Germany and then by Malta\u2019s \u201cDrunkSpewer\u201d<\/strong>, the latter having taking down a KO Series event earlier in the festival.<\/p>\n

This set up a heads-up clash between \u201cEbaaa11\u201d<\/strong> of Russia and Simao\u2019s fellow Brazilian \u201cThorfie\u201d<\/strong> and it was the latter who emerged victorious to lock up their second title of the series plus a combined prize worth more than $35,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Lithuania may be a relatively small country in the grand scheme of things but it is a country that produces some talented poker players, including \u201cDeny888\u201d<\/strong> who triumphed in the $530 buy-in KO Series #38-H: $200K Gtd Mix-Max event.<\/p>\n

Deny888 found themself heads-up against Brazil\u2019s \u201cIgorFederal\u201d<\/strong> and it was a fight they emerged unscathed from, securing $16,922 plus $16,763 from the bounty prize pool, while the Brazilian netted $16,901 plus $3,404.<\/p>\n

Earlier at the final table, \u201cphong_\u201d<\/strong> of New Zealand managed to stay awake long enough to finish in sixth place before \u201cYumsYums\u201d<\/strong> of Sweden busted in fifth place. \u201cFrippu\u201d<\/strong> of Finland won more than $15,000 after falling in fourth place with the penultimate elimination being that of \u201cLa.Brouletterie\u201d of Belgium who banked $12,283 plus bounties worth $5,976.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
