Day 2 of the $30 million guaranteed KO Series<\/strong> saw the action switch to six-handed tables, increasing the excitement to fever pitch. Thirteen champions were crowned and those 13 events awarded a total of $1,727,678, taking the total prize money won to almost $7.5 million after only a couple of days.<\/p>\n

The KO Series #06-HR: $200K Gtd 6-Max<\/strong> saw 529 entries of $530 meaning the guarantee was smashed by more than $70,000. The $271,112 prize pool was divided between the bounty prize pool and the main prize pool with the latter paying out the top 72 finishers.<\/p>\n

Each of the six finalists locked up at least $5,000 for their effort, when bounties were taken into consideration. \u201cTurbo_boy\u201d<\/strong> from belarus was the first casualty of the six-handed final table and collected $4,363 plus $1,394 worth of bounties.<\/p>\n

Sweden\u2019s \u201czupsherlock\u201d<\/strong> lost their stack to bust in fifth place, a result worth more than $7,500 in total, before \u201cLouise Banks\u201d<\/strong> of Germany crashed out in fourth place for almost $17,000.<\/p>\n

Third place and more than $23,500 went to Malta\u2019s \u201cPaul07new\u201d<\/strong> and this exit set up a heads-up clash between \u201clipkinator\u201d<\/strong> of the United Kingdom and \u201cDrunkSpewer\u201d<\/strong> of Malta. It was a battle the Malta-based grinder went on to win, securing $19,689 from the main prize pool and $22,936 worth of bounty payments. Lipkinator, who won a KO Series event on Day 1<\/a>, had to make do with $19,662 plus $2,961.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

A prize pool of $347,820 was created in the KO Series #07-HR: $300K Gtd 6-Max<\/strong> event when 341 players exchanged $1,050 for the chance to become a KO Series champion. Only one player managed that feat, however, Sweden\u2019s \u201cojanOmaha\u201d who scooped the lion\u2019s share of the money.<\/p>\n

The Swede netted $27,544 from the main prize pool and topped up that impressive sum with $25,215 worth of bounties, including that on the head of runner-up \u201cFranBenitez91\u201d<\/strong> whose second place finish was worth $27,509 plus $10,298.<\/p>\n

Earlier at the final table, Lithuania\u2019s \u201cNoTilit\u201d<\/strong> busted in sixth place and walked away with almost $15,000 while \u201cSentapied99\u201d<\/strong> of the UK turned their $1,050 into $20,000. Mexico\u2019s \u201cMETH4WEIGHTOSS\u201d<\/strong> is almost more than $20,000 richer than a few hours ago after busting in fourth place, while \u201cThe1n0nlyJonG\u201d<\/strong> won $19,994 for their third place exit and this was bolstered by $3,867 worth of bounty payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

One of the best players in the world took down the KO Series #07-H: $200K Gtd 6-Max<\/strong> event to add to their $11 million in lifetime online poker tournament winnings.<\/p>\n

Swedish superstar \u201cpetdet3ctive\u201d<\/strong> came out on top of a 978 strong field in the $320 buy-in tournament to pad their bankroll with $19,999 from the main prize pool and $19,205 from the bounty prize pool.<\/p>\n

Each of the six players at the final table won no less than $7,000 with bounties included with sixth place going to \u201cOverlordBanker\u201d<\/strong> of Belgium for $7,613 and fifth placed \u201cveraaa1\u201d<\/strong> collecting $7,969.<\/p>\n

Austrian star \u201cSchelampigUhu\u201d<\/strong> saw their run end in fourth place for a combined $14,392 before Japanese grinder \u201cyo100yen\u201d fell in third place for $17,009. The runner-up was \u201cpyszal\u201d<\/strong> of Poland who won an impressive $28,643.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
