Andrey Veselov<\/strong> was crowned the 2019 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C)<\/strong> UK Main Event champion on Sunday 14th April, a result worth \u00a3114,530, which is by far his largest-ever live poker tournament prize.<\/p>\n

Some 1,024-entries were processed over the course of five live Day 1s and one online Day 1, ensuring the \u00a31 million guarantee was hit. The top 119 players received prize money, a min-cash weighing in at \u00a32,250 and \u00a3155,000 reserved for the champion.<\/p>\n

Such luminaries as partypoker LIVE President John Duthie<\/strong> (92nd for \u00a33,000), James Atkin<\/strong> (74th for \u00a33,500), Tom Hall<\/strong> (61st for \u00a34,000), Richard Trigg<\/strong> (25th for \u00a35,500), WSOP-C UK Super High Roller champion Orpen Kisacikoglu<\/strong> (20th for \u00a36,500), and Jeff Kimber<\/strong> (14th for \u00a310,000) were just a handful of top players to reach the money places.<\/p>\n

First Elimination of the Final Table<\/h2>\n

The final day began with nine players in the hunt for the \u00a3155,000 top prize, but the player count was reduced by one soon after play commenced when Andrew Hulme<\/strong>\u2019s proved to be no match for the dominating in the hand of Timothy Chung<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hulme was joined on the rail, via the cashier\u2019s desk of course, by Mahamed Muse<\/strong>, Jack O\u2019Neill<\/strong> and James Alsop<\/strong> before the popular Fraser MacIntyre<\/strong> lost a big coinflip with against Paul McAulay<\/strong>\u2019s then lost the rest of his stack when his ran into the of Hasmukh Khodiyara<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Final Three Strike a Deal<\/h2>\n

McAulay then busted in fourth-place, leaving the final three players to strike a deal for the remainder of the prize pool. Based on ICM, the deal saw \u00a315,500 and the WSOP-C gold ring left to play for and the last three player guarantee themselves:<\/p>\n
