Another $1,803,554 was paid out, taking the grand total awarded so far to more than $20 million.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest tournament of the day was the $5,200 buy-in $500,000 guaranteed PKO 8-Max event and it awarded so gigantic bounties. Let\u2019s take a closer look.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Events completed<\/strong>: 170<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prize money awarded<\/strong>: $20,067,015<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Powerfest #46-SHR: $500K Gtd PKO 8-Max<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Buy-in<\/strong>: $5,200<\/li>\n<li><strong>Entrants<\/strong>: 131<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prize pool<\/strong>: $668,100<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A field of 131-players took part in the <strong>Powerfest #46-SHR: $500K Gtd PKO 8-Max<\/strong>, with several members of Team partypoker among them. Joni Jouhkimainen and Renato Nomura missed out on a cash, but picked picked up some bounty payments along the way.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/roberto-romanello\"><strong>Roberto \u201cWelshWizard\u201d Romanello<\/strong><\/a> busted in 19th place and collected more than $10,000 in total. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/anatoly-filatov\"><strong>Anatoly \u201cNL_Profit\u201d Filatov<\/strong><\/a> went a few places deeper before busting in 15th place for a shade under $9,000 with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/patrick-leonard\"><strong>Patrick \u201cPatrick_Leonard\u201d Leonard<\/strong><\/a> falling in 12th place for almost $11,000.<\/p>\n<p>The deepest any of our players went was eighth-place and it was the Brazilian sensation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/joao-simao\"><strong>Joao \u201cjoaosimaobh\u201d Simao<\/strong><\/a> who was that player. Simao collected $10,506 from the main prize pool and $21,937 worth of bounties for a profitable day at the tables.<\/p>\n<p>While Simao\u2019s bounty haul was impressive in its own right, it was nowhere near the monster-sized bounty payment <strong>\u201cMelonsAreYum\u201d<\/strong> collected after taking down this event.<\/p>\n<p>First-place was worth $57,820 and the Dutch player also secured $105,503 from the bounty prize pool after sending Sweden\u2019s <strong>\u201cMOTHERSMATTERS\u201d<\/strong> to the rail in second-place. Reaching the final table boosted the min-cash to $4,950 with the top five finishers winning at least $10,440.<\/p>\n<p>United Kingdom\u2019s <strong>\u201cSpecter_Litt\u201d<\/strong> was the fifth-place finisher, good for $10,440 while <strong>\u201cMortenVM\u201d<\/strong> busted in fourth-place for a $14,940 addition to their bankroll.
