Sunday 21 October saw another Power Series Special Edition<\/strong> take place and what a tournament it was. We gave a massive guarantee boost to the $11 buy-in Sunday Main Event<\/strong>, making it a $100,000 guaranteed tournament!<\/p>\n

Some 5,623 players re-entered 2,127 times before late registration closed, making a total attendance of 7,750<\/strong>. The mathematicians among you will no doubt have calculated this meant there was a juicy overlay of $22,500 for those 984 players who navigated their way into the money place, making the tournament even better value.<\/p>\n

A min-cash in this event was worth $29, a final table appearance boosted this sum to $914, with the eventual champion scooping $15,147 for their $11 investment.<\/p>\n

It was Brazil\u2019s \u201cdimenoor\u201d<\/strong> who emerged victorious to bank the massive $15,417 top prize after defeating \u201czzzzzzach\u201d<\/strong> of the United Kingdom heads-up; the Brit netted $10,605 and was the only other player to lock up a five-figure score for only $11 invested.<\/p>\n

Shout-outs too to everyone else who reached the eight-handed final table. \u201cGeaser4538\u201d<\/strong> finished third for $6,801, \u201cTimoha007555\u201d<\/strong> was the fourth-place finisher and walked away with $4,420 while \u201cLovebounty\u201d<\/strong> collected $3,027 for their fifth-place finish.<\/p>\n

Sixth, seventh and eighth-place went to \u201ckellysgold\u201d<\/strong>, \u201ccomeOn1time\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cmisimax\u201d<\/strong> who saw $2,050, $1,432 and $914 added to their partypoker accounts respectively.<\/p>\n

KO a Pro Winners<\/h2>\n

Making this event even better value was the addition of the KO a Pro promotion<\/strong><\/a> that saw 10 members of Team partypoker enter the fray with a bounty on their heads.
