Let\u2019s read more about this and the other big Day 3 results in our recap of the action.<\/p>\n<h1>$60 million POWERFEST: The story so far<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Events played: 94<\/li>\n<li>Events remaining: 576<\/li>\n<li>Prize money awarded: $10,868,007<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>$60 million POWERFEST Day 3 highlights<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>POWERFEST #016-SHR: $1M Gtd Championship Event<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Buy-in: $5,200<\/li>\n<li>Entries: 204<\/li>\n<li>Prize pool: $1,020,000<\/li>\n<li>Places paid: 32<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some 204 players bought into the Championship Event for $5,200 on Day 3 of POWERFEST to create a $1,020,000 prize pool. This was shared among the top 32 finishers, with a min-cash being worth $10,608 and a final table appearance boosting the prize to $23,460.<\/p>\n<p>Two of Team partypoker busted short of the money. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/joni-jouhkimainen\"><strong>Joni \u201cJJouhki\u201d Jouhkimainen<\/strong><\/a> fell in 36th place with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/roberto-romanello\"><strong>Roberto \u201cWelshWizard\u201d Romanello<\/strong><\/a> exiting in 35th place.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/patrick-leonard-the-tables-are-sexier-and-more-fun-to-play.html\"><strong>Patrick \u201cPatrick_Leonard\u201d Leonard<\/strong><\/a> did make it into the money, eventually busting in 11th place for $18,156.<\/p>\n<p>The eight-handed final table was the home to some of online poker\u2019s greats. The likes of <strong>\u201cmczhang\u201d<\/strong> and <strong>\u201cHellmuthTheGr8\u201d<\/strong> saw their tournaments come to an abrupt end in sixth and fifth-place respectively for scores of $42,840 and $56,100.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cChelsea72\u201d<\/strong>, a regular in our biggest tournaments, fell in third-place for $107,610 to leave Tsoukernik and <strong>\u201chelicopterben82\u201d<\/strong> to lock horns heads-up for the title.<\/p>\n<p>It was a battle that Tsoukernik would come out on top of. Tsoukernik won the $207,978 top prize, leaving helicopterben82 to bank $150,960.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to partypoker after his impressive victory, Tsoukernik said: &#8220;I only fired one bullet and am really delighted. I felt focused and in the zone the whole time. \u201cI saw that Patrick Leonard and Michael Zhang had deep runs and know how great they are as players. I\u2019m just so happy, I love to play the best players.and it is so satisfying to survive in their company. I ended up heads-up against Mikita Badziakouski, who is truly an amazing player. KERRMODE finished second in a similar tournament at the last POWERFEST in May and banked $69,430.
