I write to you both here to plead with you to calm down and offer the guiding diplomatic hand of Tony G to smooth things over. If necessary I will lube up with aloe vera and lavender and give you both a deep relaxing massage.<\/p>\n
Peace in the valley, peace in the city, peace in your soul. Either that or listen to Bob Marley. As Kid Creole and the Coconuts said: \u2018Annie, I\u2019m not your daddy,\u2019 as Elton John sang: \u2018 Daniel my brother you are older than me do you still feel the pain of the scars that won’t heal.\u2019<\/p>\n
These scars need to heal so consider Tony G the United Nations \u2013 let\u2019s send in the peacekeepers. Let me soothe you.<\/p>\n
Daniel, you had your General McCrystal moment but you have apologized and that is the main thing. I saw your interview with Kimberley Lansing at the WPT Legends of Poker<\/a> and know you are really sorry. Annie, you have your right to reply but\u00a0 everything has now got a lot worse. All I can do is plead with you both to kiss and make up (perhaps kissing is too far) but let\u2019s wave the white flag right now \u2013 let\u2019s call a permanent ceasefire.<\/p>\n I am Switzerland (not in Switzerland) and here on the end of a phone if you think I can help \u2013 my counseling services will get to the heart of the matter. You know I have heart and I don\u2019t like to see people destroying each other.<\/p>\n I saw that Howard stepped in and called Daniel a neanderthal \u2013 I\u2019ve been called that in the past too. This makes matters even worse. Calm down, calm down everyone! I was just reading Spartan Fox\u2019s blog on Cardrunners – he thinks the only solution here is to have a debate between Daniel Negreanu and Annie Duke over the merits of ladies events<\/a> and put it on pay per view.<\/p>\n I say this isn\u2019t necessary, lets smooth over this situation, let\u2019s try and forget that it ever happened.
