Let\u2019s take a look at three of the biggest Monster Series events on Day 1.<\/p>\n<h1>Monster Series III: The Story So Far<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Events completed<\/strong>: 21<\/li>\n<li><strong>Events remaining<\/strong>: 150<\/li>\n<li><strong>Total prize money awarded<\/strong>: $437,360<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Monster Series III: Day 1 Recap<\/h1>\n<h2>Monster #03-High: $100K Gtd<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Buy-in<\/strong>: $33<\/li>\n<li><strong>Entries<\/strong><strong>: 3,625<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Prize pool<\/strong>: 108,750<\/li>\n<li><strong>ITM<\/strong>: 472<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A fantastic turnout of 3,625 players in the <strong>Monster #03-High: $100K Gtd<\/strong> ensured that the guaranteed was met and a prize pool of $108,750 was up for grabs. This monster-sized sum was shared among the top 472 finishers, with the first-place prize weighing in at $16,808.<\/p>\n<p>This is the prize awarded to <strong>\u201cgalinaho\u201d<\/strong> who triumphed in the biggest Monster Series event of the day, a victory that took a shade over 10 hours to complete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cVershina\u201d<\/strong> was the final table\u2019s first casualty, crashing out in eighth-place for $1,053; the first player to walk away with a four-figure score. They were followed to the rail by <strong>\u201crider200707\u201d<\/strong>, <strong>\u201cNorotiousGIB\u201d<\/strong> and <strong>\u201ctreilly98\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Those who reached the final four places were guaranteed almost $5,000, an excellent return on a $33 investment. <strong>\u201cMadduxSports33\u201d<\/strong> fell in third-place and secured $4,959 with <strong>\u201cLouise Smarch\u201d<\/strong> banking $7,569 for their third-place finish.<\/p>\n<p>galinhao and <strong>\u201cnajden\u201d<\/strong> then locked horns heads up for the title. Each of these finalists was guaranteed $1,084 with the champion scooping almost seven-times that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cunicom61\u201d<\/strong> saw their tournament end in a sixth-place finish with <strong>\u201cCADNCT\u201d<\/strong> joining them on the sidelines in fifth-place, a finish worth $2,035. A cool $3,111 was awarded to <strong>\u201clildani9\u201d<\/strong> who fell in fourth-place while <strong>\u201csluuuurp\u201d<\/strong> netted themselves a $4,306 score when they exited in third-place.<\/p>\n<p>A heads-up battle between <strong>\u201cGTOisforkids\u201d<\/strong> and <strong>\u201cNEMFODENDO\u201d<\/strong> ensued and it was a battle that the latter emerged from unscathed. They kick off at regular interval from 15:00 CET through to 01:00 CET and have combined guaranteed prize pool worth a cool $205,000.<\/p>\n<p>There is a great mix of different formats to choose from, although two events in particular look incredible value.
