In a field of 186 players Yann was drawn to sit at table 13 which proved to be unlucky for him.

Early in the first level he had dropped 10K but recovered somewhat by 1st break to 20K in chips. At the end of level 2 he was struggling with 14k and a very lively table.

In Level 3 with the Blinds 100/200 and pocket K’s, Yann thought his luck might finally have changed. He re-raised with 2 callers pre-flop, board comes 10 4 5. His bet found a fold and raises so he shoved his final 10K – players calls. Turn is rag but the river is a 7, player shows pocket 7’s.

Day 1B Update

Six of our online package winners sat down to play day 1B of Legends of Poker. While the day was slow play wise for them all, we managed to hold on to all six until level five. Desire Van Oostveen from Netherlands was the first to bust in the opening hand of level 5. Then just before the level ended Nicolo Ghinassi our PartyPoker.it qualifier was busted by fellow PartyPoker qualifier Torbjon Duner from Sweden. At the end of day 1B we had four players remaining:

Name Chipcount
Torbjorn Duner 17375
John Feleja 26200
Steven Smith 31050
Jeff Owen 42500

Average chip Count : $48,068

Congratulations to those four and here’s hoping for continuing success in day two.

They are part of the 151 players who remain at the end of day 1B.
