Since PKO MTTs<\/strong> were launched, there has been much debate in the online poker world as to whether it is fair on players for online poker sites to apply additional rake to the bounty element of buy-ins in PKO MTTs, instead of just applying rake to the portion of the buy-in that goes directly into the main prize-pool.<\/p>\n

After reviewing feedback from the poker community and lobbying from Patrick Leonard<\/strong>, partypoker removed rake on the bounty element on all PKO MTTs for .com over one month ago<\/a>. This will also be the case for French<\/strong> and Spanish players<\/strong> when the new partypoker.eu MTT schedule<\/strong> is launched on 4th June. partypoker will hold this policy for six months with the intention to make this a permanent reduction to the pricing structure. The new rake structure means that PKO MTTs on partypoker rake 50% less than the industry standard.<\/p>\n

French players to see double the MTT schedule<\/h2>\n

As part of the .eu launch partypoker is also doubling the current MTT schedule for French players, while over \u20ac600,000 can be won in weekly PKO MTTs with buy-ins ranging from \u20ac0.55 – \u20ac250. A PKO MTT will run every two hours on the new site, with no rake on the bounty element.<\/p>\n

Spanish players first taste of partypoker action<\/h2>\n

The .eu launch represents a landmark for Spanish players, who can once again enjoy MTTs on the partypoker platform and benefit from \u20ac5,000,000 in monthly guarantees across the entire schedule. Meanwhile PKO MTTs will guarantee over \u20ac600,000 weekly in buy-ins spanning \u20ac55 – \u20ac250, with a PKO MTT running every two hours featuring no rake on the bounty element.<\/p>\n
