It took almost exactly four hours for the final table to lose its first player and that dubious honour was bestowed on Belgium\u2019s <strong>Thomas Boivin<\/strong>. The Belgian moved all-in for 33,000,000 at the 2,000,000\/4,000,000\/4,000,000a level with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and <strong>Stephen Chidwick<\/strong> called from the small blind with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. Boivin paired his three on the flop yet Chidwick\u2019s jacks held to send Boivin to the rail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Davidi Kitai<\/strong> fell a couple of hands later. Veiga, representing Portugal, spiked a four on the flop and it proved strong enough to eliminated Kitai who added \u20ac325,000 to the \u20ac700,000 he raked in for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/davidi-kitai-and-andreas-eiler-win-e25k-super-high-roller-titles-in-barcelona.html\">winning the <strong>\u20ac25,500 Super High Roller<\/strong><\/a> earlier in the week.<\/p>\n<p>Sixth-place went to Veiga shortly after the blinds had increased to 2,500,000\/5,000,000\/5,000,000a. Chidwick opened to 10,000,000 from the cutoff, Veiga three-bet to 39,000,000 from the small blind and Chidwick called. Veiga checked on the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> flop, Chidwick bet 20,000,000 and then called when Veiga check-raised all-in for 45,000,000. With blinds now 3,000,000\/6,000,000\/6,000,000a, Owen raised to 16,000,000 from the cutoff and then eventually called after Schwippert moved all-in for 136,000,000 from the big blind. Schwippert revealed the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/9c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and Owen the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. The board ran out <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/js.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/5h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qs.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and with that Schwippert was gone.<\/p>\n<p>The dangerous <strong>Dominik Nitsche<\/strong> was the next to fall after he pushed all-in from the small blind for approximately nine big blinds with what turned out to be <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ks.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and Lefrancois called from the big blind with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. Lefrancois limped on the button and then quickly called when Chidwick moved all-in for 94,000,000 or a shade under 12 big blinds. Chidwick\u2019s <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> was narrowly ahead of Lefrancois\u2019 <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ks.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ts.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">, but only until the flop where the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> raised its head. It proved enough to bust Chidwick and send the tournament into the heads-up stage.<\/p>\n<p>Lefrancois lead Owen by 856,000,000 to 320,000,000 chips and the final duo engaged in a thrilling one-on-one encounter that saw the chip lead exchange several times. The final hand took place during the 6,000,000\/12,000,000\/12,000,000a level and saw Own raise to 38,000,000 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/as.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ts.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">.
