There was a familiar face on the winner\u2019s podium in the partypoker Irish Open Ladies Championship<\/strong> event thanks to Rachel Heneghan<\/strong> triumphing over a talented field of ladies and walking away with \u20ac2,478.<\/p>\n

Heneghan, the VIP Manager for Dusk Till Dawn, came out on top of a field of 34 ladies to get her hands on the \u20ac2,748 first-place prize. Heneghan defeated partypoker\u2019s Louise Butler<\/strong><\/a> to resign her to a \u20ac1,715 consolation prize.<\/p>\n

Only the final six players won prize money for their substantial effort. Elizabeth Bennett-Martin finished sixth for \u20ac510, Julie Murphy fell in fifth-place for \u20ac655 with Kim Kilroy<\/strong> exiting in fourth-place for a \u20ac840 score. Monika Zukowicz<\/strong>\u2019s exit in third-place left Heneghan and Butler to lock horns heads-up.<\/p>\n

This is not Heneghan\u2019s first time n the winner\u2019s circle because eh won a \u00a3330 buy-in High Roller at Dusk Till Dawn in September 2015 for \u00a32,800. That is not her largest live tournament cash because Heneghan finished fourth in a \u00a31,100 event at Dusk Till Dawn in October 2017 for \u00a35,500 approximately 12-months after finishing 41st in the $2,500 partypoker Million event in November 2016 for a cool $10,000.<\/p>\n

Butler\u2019s runner-up finish continues our pro\u2019s impressive run of form. Butler finished third in last week\u2019s Big Thursday Main Event-HR: $200K Gtd<\/strong> for $21,627 before finishing second in the Big Tuesday<\/strong> edition of the same tournament this week for an additional $29,896. Butler is surely one to watch in the \u20ac1 million guaranteed Irish Open Main Event<\/strong>, which you can follow all of the live updates via your My partypoker Live account<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

These excellent results cap off a stellar week for members of partypoker ladies<\/a>. On Sunday 11th March<\/a>, Day Kotoviezy<\/strong> won the $109 Sunday Bounty Hunter<\/strong> for $4,931 and an additional $4,355 in bounties, while Luiza Simao<\/strong> won the Ladies Bounty Hunter-H: $10K Gtd<\/strong> for $1,404 and $1,178 in bounty payments.<\/p>\n
