Team partypoker\u2019s Anatoly \u201cNL_Profit\u201d Filatov<\/strong><\/a> became a POWERFEST champion on January 28th when he triumphed in the POWERFEST #24-H: $150K Gtd NL Hold\u2019em event. One day later, the Russian star reached the final table of another $2,100 buy-in POWERFEST event.<\/p>\n

Filatov looked set to win his second POWERFEST tournament of the series as he made his way through the majority of the 100-string field to take a seat at the eight-handed final table.<\/p>\n

One by one the players fell at the final hurdle until only three players remained, Filatov being one of them. Just as it looked like a $24,500 prize would be Filatov\u2019s disaster struck and he was sent to the sidelines in third-place.<\/p>\n

Filatov\u2019s exit left \u201cPhileasFogg\u201d<\/strong> and \u201crdcrsnn\u201d<\/strong> to play heads-up for the title. Just as he did in the $5,200 buy-in $500K Gtd POWERFEST Event on Day 8<\/a>, PhileasFogg finished as runner-up and this meant rdcrsnn won what was his third POWERFEST event of the current series.<\/p>\n

In addition to the $24,500 cash prize, rdcrsnn also netted $33,625 from bounty payments.<\/p>\n

The $1,050 buy-in 6-max pot-limit Omaha event saw its $50,000 guarantee almost doubled when 90 players turned out and created a $90,000 prize pool.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for Team partypoker<\/a>, none of the members made it into the top 12 places where the prize money was awarded. \u201cLsdlise\u201d<\/strong> banked $3,825 for their sixth-place finish and when the talented \u201cbossamtisch1\u201d<\/strong> bust in fourth place, the remaining players were guaranteed a five-figure score.<\/p>\n

\u201cZod__\u201d<\/strong> collected $10,800 for their third-place finish, \u201cSimaTing\u201d<\/strong> secured $17,550 by finishing second and \u201cKingJamesMVP\u201d<\/strong> walked away with $28,152 and the title of champion.<\/p>\n
