The 20th High POWERFEST of the series saw 105 players exchange $2,100 for the chance to play for a slice of a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool. With such a high buy-in, it was no surprise that some of the world\u2019s best poker players were among the 105 entrants.<\/p>\n

Several members of Team partypoker bust before the top 16 places, where the prize money was awarded, but the likes of \u201cDrulitooo\u201d<\/strong>, \u201cjosef_shvejk\u201d<\/strong>, and \u201cDoyle_B\u201d<\/strong> made it into the money.<\/p>\n

Any of the eight players at the final table would have been a worthy champion as all eight are established professionals whose game\u2019s are respected. It was \u201crdcrsnn\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cSanityWaterline\u201d<\/strong> who locked horns heads-up, but not before they struck a deal to flatten the pay structure somewhat. rdcrsnn set SanityWaterline to the rail in second place to lock up the first of his two POWERFEST wins on January 27th.<\/p>\n

rdcrsnn, not content with winning one high buy-in POWERFEST event on Day 7, went on to take down the $1,050 POWERFEST #21-H: $100K Gtd 6-Max Turbo PKO NL Hold\u2019em event for $15,492 and much more in bounty payments.<\/p>\n

Again, this tournament was a star-studded affair with players from around the globe competing for a slice of the $123,000 prize pool. It was rdcrsnn who emerged victorious, defeating \u201cSLARVBOGMAJS\u201d<\/strong> heads-up to secure the title.<\/p>\n
