Nine more champions were crowned on Day 3 of the $15 million guaranteed partypoker POWERFEST<\/strong> and Team partypoker\u2019s Anatoly \u201cNL_Profit\u201d Filatov<\/strong><\/a> came agonisingly close to being one of them.

Filatov was the last Team partypoker<\/a> players standing in the POWERFEST #09-H: $150K Gtd NL Hold\u2019em<\/strong> event, a tournament that saw 197 player exchange $1,050 to compete in it. Roberto Romanello<\/strong><\/a> and Joao Simao<\/strong><\/a> both fell outside of the money places, although Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a> finished in 25th place for $2,048.<\/p>\n

$40,168 awaited the winner of this event and Filatov has his eye firmly on the prize when he reached the eight-handed final table. Two players bust to leave only six players in the hunt for the title then disaster struck for Filatov as he exited in sixth-place for an $8,274 score.<\/p>\n

The event was eventually taken down by \u201cHeavenlyFather\u201d<\/strong> who defeated \u201cTriggerWord\u201d<\/strong> heads-up to bank $40,168, leaving the runner-up to secure a $29,156 prize.<\/p>\n

Filatov also put together a deep run in the POWERFEST #08-H: $100K Gtd 6-Max 1R1A NL Hold\u2019em<\/strong> event. The $100,000 guarantee was beaten by $11,000 after the 126 entrants made 65 rebuys and purchased 31 add-ons between them.<\/p>\n

Eighteen players received prize money and Filatov was one of them after he bust in 17th place for $2,036.<\/p>\n

It was \u201cDECOR0X\u201d<\/strong> who emerged victorious in this tournament and he walked away with $27,961 for his win.<\/p>\n

POWERFEST Events on January 24th<\/h2>\n

Day 4 of POWERFEST sees another nine events take place at partypoker. Kicking off the day are a trio of Ante-Up tournaments at 12:00 ET \/ 17:00 GMT \/ 18:00 CET. In these events, the blinds remain at 5\/10 for the entire tournament but the antes increase.<\/p>\n
