The $5 million guaranteed Monster Series<\/strong><\/a> continued at partypoker on October 27 with another 10 scintillating events.<\/p>\n

Of those 10 events it was the Monster-34-Mid-Stakes: $30K Gtd<\/strong> tournament that had the largest prize pool thanks to 1,801 players ponying up $22 to create a guarantee-busting $36,020 prize pool.<\/p>\n

This princely sum was distributed among the top 248 finishers. A min-cash was worth $41.42 and a final table appearance being rewarded with at least $410.62.<\/p>\n

The tournament came to an end after a three-handed chop of the remaining prize pool. \u201cNashphile\u201d<\/strong> is credited with finishing third for $4,053, \u201cKorol_PostFlopa\u201d<\/strong> was second and banked $4,339 while \u201cGrimDream1\u201d<\/strong> was crowned champion and received $4,749.21.<\/p>\n

Another big event was Monster-33-Mid-Stakes: $20K Gtd Heads-Up NL Hold\u2019em<\/strong>, which saw 318 players buy in for $33. This was possibly the best value event on the schedule so far because it featured a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool, a guarantee that was missed by almost $11,000.<\/p>\n

Those who reached the money places did not complain because it meant they received a bumper payout. \u201c<\/strong>rovar\u201d<\/strong> took down the event for $5,000, defeating \u201cGrapLuva\u201d<\/strong> in the final one-on-one match; the runner-up collected $2,600.<\/p>\n
