partypoker<\/a> is heading back to Vienna next month for the second edition of Grand Prix Austria<\/strong> in one of the most spectacular poker destinations in Europe.<\/p>\n

The \u20ac500,000 guaranteed partypoker Grand Prix Austria takes place at Montesino Poker<\/strong> from 29th September to 9th October<\/strong>. Players can choose from a host of online or live Day 1s \u2013 as well as exclusive online feeder satellites starting Monday 28th August from as little as $1.10.<\/p>\n

The debut Grand Prix Austria took place in April and was a massive success. There were more than 2,500 entries for the \u20ac200+\u20ac25 buy-in event generating a \u20ac518,000 prize pool, easily beating the event\u2019s \u20ac500k guarantee. Slovakia\u2019s Andrej Desset<\/strong><\/a> took it down for \u20ac92,000 \u2013 and then made history just a few weeks later when he won Grand Prix Germany in Rozvadov<\/strong><\/a> for an additional \u20ac100,000.<\/p>\n

Among the 344 players who made the money in Vienna were European stars such as Sebastian Pauli<\/strong>, Konstantinos Nanos<\/strong> and Christophe Gross<\/strong> along with partypoker Ambassador Natalia Breviglieri<\/strong><\/a> who finished 34th for \u20ac1,800 and Jan-Peter Jachtmann<\/strong> who was 227th for \u20ac400.<\/p>\n

For the return visit in September, partypoker is again putting up a \u20ac500,000 guarantee and hoping to beat April\u2019s sensational turnout. Among those set to compete in Vienna are partypoker sponsored pros Marcel Luske<\/strong><\/a>, Natalia Breviglieri and Jan-Peter Jachtmann.<\/p>\n

Once again, partypoker is running its popular Golden Chip Promo. The first 100 players to make Day 2 will receive a Golden Chip and, if a Golden Chip player manages to make the Final Table, they win a $10k package to the Caribbean Poker Party<\/strong> in November.<\/p>\n

Feeder satellites will kick off from next Monday, making it possible to qualify for Grand Prix Austria from as little as $1.10. The first online Day 1 is on partypoker on 3rd September, and costs just $120+$15 to enter. There will also be numerous live Day 1s around Austria, starting Friday 29th September and taking place at Montesino Poker, as well as eight partner casinos including Bregenz<\/strong>, Innsbruck<\/strong> and Salzburg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The fantastic Grand Prix Austria structure gives players a 50,000 starting stack with all players making Day 2 guaranteed a min cash of \u20ac250. For those short on time, a series of turbo and hyper turbo Day 1 events will also be available. These are taking place both online on partypoker, and live at Montesino Poker and Concord Card Casino Simmering<\/strong> in Vienna.<\/p>\n

The online Day 2 is on Saturday 7th October, with live Day 2s in Vienna on 8th October. The live final Day 3 is on 9th October at Montesino Poker \u2013 and will see the blind levels increase to 60 minutes.<\/p>\n
