A massive \u20ac500,000 guarantee is in place this weekend, with the winner taking home at least \u20ac100,000 on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Starting at 2pm local time today, players will receive 30,000 chips for their \u20ac200+ \u20ac25 buy-in.<\/span><\/p>\n

In total, 18 30-minute levels will be played out today with all remaining stacks being carried forward into Day 2 tomorrow.<\/span><\/p>\n

With 1678 entries, over 11 live and 14 online day 1s, already taken to the felt means a total of 832 registrations is needed over the remaining five flights to beat the guarantee.<\/span><\/p>\n

So far, 280 players have sat down at the Montesino this afternoon, so with just over 600 entries still needed, the target is in sight.<\/span><\/p>\n

partypoker have partnered with several Austrian casinos over the last month to give all players the opportunity to qualify for Day 2 at the Montesino.<\/span><\/p>\n

At 5pm today the final non-turbo live flight will take place at the Concord Card Casino in Simmering. So if you’re a local player why not head down and try to win your share of the \u20ac500,000 prize pool.<\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel, who played a big part in setting up successful gaming tournaments such as FIFA at the Montesino, found himself chip leader with 15 players left and won one of the ten seats up for grabs.<\/span><\/p>\n
