Others who had to make their way to the exits via the cashier\u2019s desk included Waheed Ashraf, Steven Warburton, former tennis ace Boris Becker, and one of the favourites for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/10-6k-caribbean-poker-party-packages.html\" target=\"_blank\">Caribbean Poker Party<\/a> glory Sam Trickett.<\/p>\n<p>Former Irish Open champion Ian Simpson reached the nine-handed final table, but was the first casualty at it when his jacks failed to improve against a pair of kings. Simpson was then joined on the sidelines by Germany\u2019s Manig Loeser, John Cynn, the legendary Barny Boatman, start-of-the-day chip leader Peter Roche, Simon Deadman, and rising star Benjamin Heath to leave only Blanco Oliver and Paul-Francois Tedeschi remaining in the hunt for the \u00a3250,000 top prize.<\/p>\n<p>It took more than an hour of one-on-one action for the tournament to be settled, with the final hand seeing Tedeschi all-in before the flop with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/2h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and Blanco Oliver in a great position holding the dominating <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">.
