The likes of the legendary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/meet-the-people-bob-kilted-shark-tait.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bob \u201cKilted Shark\u201d Tait<\/a> and partypoker qualifier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/meet-the-people-ian-simpson.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ian Simpson<\/a> bust late on Day 2 in 17th and 16th place, leaving Dara O\u2019Kearney and Jason Tompkins as the only online qualifiers in the field, although partypoker ambassadors Tony Dunst and Natalia Breviglieri were also among the final 14.<\/p>\n<p>Dunst fell in 14th place when Dave Masters opened to 35,000 at the 8,000\/16,000\/2,000a level, Dunst three-bet all-in for 250,000 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/2c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/2d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and Master snap-called with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. No help arrived on the board, and Dunst was gone.<\/p>\n<p>Breviglieri then joined her partypoker team-mate on the sidelines. Having lost a large pot to Tadhg Ryan a few minutes previous, Breviglieri pushed her five big blind stack into the middle with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/4h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and was up against the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/js.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/9s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> of Alan Kelleher. By the turn of the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qs.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/th.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ts.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> board, it looked like a chopped pot was on the cards, however, a king on the river improved Kelleher to a straight, and resigned Breviglieri to a 13th place finish.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Tighe, Peter Murphy, and Gatis Cibulis each lost their stacks during the opening levels of Day 3 to leave only the final table of nine in the hunt for the \u20ac65,000 first place prize.<\/p>\n<p>Jason Tompkins was the final table\u2019s first casualty. Tompkins\u2019 <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> lost to the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/9d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> of Kelleher despite catching a queen on the flop (an ace on the turn condemned Tompkins) before Tadhg Ryan lost a coinflip with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> versus David Masters\u2019 <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">.<\/p>\n<p>Seventh-place went to Eric Doyle when a queen on the river meant his <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/as.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> was cracked by the dominated <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> of Masters, before a micro-stacked Larry Ryan crashed out in sixth place at the hands of Lawlor.<\/p>\n<p>Lawlor then sent Masters to the sidelines when his <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> held against <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/th.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">, then Dara O\u2019Kearney\u2019s <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ks.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> couldn\u2019t get there against Lawlor\u2019s dominating <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">.<\/p>\n<p>Three-handed play ended with the exit of Raymond Masters whose <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> lost to the now seemingly unstoppable Lawlor\u2019s <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/9s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">, leaving Lawlor to head into heads-up with Kelleher holding a 5,660,000 to 2,140,000 chip lead.<\/p>\n<p>It took 56 hands of one-on-one play to crown the champion, that champion being Lawlor.
