Before any cards were dealt, we guaranteed $7.8 million would be won, but when event 172 ended, the total prize money awarded weigh in just shy of $9.1 million, making this Powerfest the biggest yet.

A huge slice of that astronomical sum of money came courtesy of the heavyweight and high roller week, which partypoker player supported like never before. The $215 buy-in Powerfest Main Event smashed its $500,000 guarantee by $22,000, with three players chopping more than $180,000. Those three players were:

SnipeDonkey – $62,716.68

easylimppp – $62,545.01

ProLuckbox – $60,749.07

Amazingly, the two $1 million events also reached and then beat their guarantees, ensuring some massive prizes were won. Like the $215 buy-in Main Event, the larger $1,050 buy-in Main Event was chopped, but this time heads-up where both players scooped more than $162,000! A total of 144 players shared a total of $1,146,000 in this tournament.

Place

Player

Prize

1

PCMPCM

$168,055.44

2

jvieiradias8

$162,612.61

3

ProLuckbox

$107,151

4

TheScouse_AA

$80,220

5

ekziter

$57,300

6

denn1spr0fi8

$45,840

7

DeanMalenko

$34,380

8

wobanlve

$22,900

9

OwnYrSoul

$13,179

The other million dollar guaranteed tournament was for the high rollers.
