After cutting his teeth in home games, Ian progressed to playing cards in casinos before venturing into the world of online poker<\/a>. Now he\u2019s heading to the place affectionately known as \u201cSin City\u201d to compete in the $2 million guaranteed WPT500 Aria with a whole host of other partypoker qualifiers and his partner, Tanya.<\/p>\n \u201cI have decided to bring my partner, Tanya, with me. She\u2019s a novice poker player but it is more than my life is worth if I didn\u2019t bring her!\u201d<\/p>\n As you can see, Ian is in great spirits and looking forward to jetting off to Las Vegas armed with his Kings of Vegas package. It won\u2019t be the first time Ian\u2019s visited the poker Mecca, but he \u201cstill thinks it is a magical place.\u201d<\/p>\n And he\u2019s right, Las Vegas is magical, there\u2019s no other place in the world like it. It is simple: if you play poker, you have to jet off to Las Vegas at some point in your life and see the magic for yourself.<\/p>\n Having contacted Ian about his win, which he said didn\u2019t sink in until the day after he secured the package, it seems he is excited to be playing for what will be a life-changing sum of money.<\/p>\n \u201cI am very excited to play in a big tournament. It\u2019s much more of a thrill when you know there\u2019s a chance to win something big, and there is always a chance. I just hope to enjoy the whole thing, not only the poker side of things.
