Day 1E Ends With 44 Players<\/h2>\n

It was the largest starting field of the tournament so far, and it also lasted the longest, with action ending in Level 21 wtih 30:46 remaining on the clock. (None of the other fields made it past Level 20.)<\/p>\n

Official chip counts will be released by the casino overnight, and the 44 surviving players will return later today at 1:00 pm to begin Day 2 and play all the way down to a winner.<\/p>\n

The official prizepool for Day 2 won’t be available until after registration closes for tomorrow morning’s last-chance Turbo Day 1F, but first place will be worth considerably more than the $200,000 guarantee. (The prizepool was guaranteed to be worth $1 million, but it looks to be at least $1.7 million.)<\/p>\n

Harris walks to his seat and begins to unpack as the dealer is pitching the first hand of Harris’ Day. It’s a good one too — A\"club\"A\"heart\". The gentleman under the gun opens to 2,000, and Harris three-bets to 6,000 as he slips his backpack off his shoulder and over his chair. Action folds to the small blind who four-bet shoves, covering both opponents. The original raiser folds, and Harris snap-calls with his shiny aces as he finally manages to sit down.<\/p>\n

The small blind turns over pocket tens, and the dealer promptly puts a third ten down on the flop.<\/p>\n

Harris can not catch up, and his WPT500 is over before his chair has a chance to get warm.<\/p>\n
