Day 2 of the partypoker.net WPT National: Canadian Spring Championship has officially wrapped with an official prize pool of CAD $1,046,630 (approximately $ 946,046). We started the day off at 12pm with an official number of 311 remaining players, and the top 126 places would be paid with 1st<\/sup> place taking home CAD $178,114 (approximately $160,997).<\/p>\n

Famous Bust Ups<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The notables that busted before the money today included Team partypoker’s Kara Scott, Dylan Wilkeron, Laurence Grondin, Bill Kontaratos and Xuan Liu. The big names that took home cash today were Mike Leah (104th<\/sup> place), Amir Babakhani (75th<\/sup> place), Mike Sexton (74th<\/sup> place), Daniel Schreiber (45th<\/sup>), and Tony Dunst (44th<\/sup> place).<\/p>\n

Chip Leader…<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The chip leader at the end of play tonight is Mario Lim with 1,758,000. Other top stacks were bagged up by two-time WPT Montreal final table finisher Sylvain Siebert (1,655,000), Eric Afriat (1,700,000), and Alexander Wong (1,402,000). The familiar faces still in the hunt for the final table include Samuel Chartier, Alexandre Lavigne, and Eric Afriat.
