Arvin Rajandran is another player who (at present) is making it through all three flights, but we can&#8217;t find another player out there.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve been incredibly lucky today.&#8221; Kara told us modestly. \u00a0Well, she did spike that ace way back in the early part of this flight, but she&#8217;d more than earned a little luck along the way, every player who&#8217;s been on her table has said the same about her play, a testament to her skill at the felt.<\/p>\n<p>Can the partypoker Pro go all the way?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ladies Night? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"WPT_2393 by partypoker, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/partypoker\/12842211473\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"WPT_2393\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/3\/2883\/12842211473_98288bdbf3_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"421\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We still have a good percentage of our female players involved tonight, with several of the bigger stacks belonging to girls. Kara Scott is not going to get an early night it would seem, as she just tripled up in a sensational three-way all-in pre-flop. \u00a0She had the best of it, but it was a close run thing&#8230;at least until the flop. \u00a0Kara had Q-Q, with her two opponents shorter than her in chips with A-K and 9-9. \u00a0The flop brought a queen and Kara safely negotiated the rest of the board to rocket up to 56,000 chips.<\/p>\n<p>Also cruising along is Briony Stone, she sits behind 63,000 with just two levels to go &#8211; a fine effort. \u00a0Eve Goodman (above) is reporting tonight from BLUFF magazine, but she has just 16,100 to her name. \u00a0We asked her how she plans to attack the final two levels of play.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s go big or go home. \u00a0I get the last train if I bust soon, so it&#8217;s basically the &#8216;tube bubble&#8217;.&#8221; Eve tells us that the table has been full of action already and that is going to continue when she resumes her attempt to make Day 2.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s going to be wild. \u00a0Serious action table.&#8221; she says, and dashes off to the break while we race off the &#8217;25&#8217; chips.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chaz Chattha Checks Out <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"WPT_2424 by partypoker, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/partypoker\/12842510844\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright\" alt=\"WPT_2424\" src=\"https:\/\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3733\/12842510844_57c37427fd_z.jpg\" width=\"381\" height=\"576\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They got me.&#8221; said Chaz Chattha as he wandered over to us to help us out of asking him why he isn&#8217;t still in his seat. \u00a0Chattha has played some great stuff already this weekend, and has over 100k to take into Day 2 from Flights 1 &amp; 2. \u00a0He&#8217;s very unlucky to be out of this flight after flopping the nuts.<\/p>\n<p>In a five-way pot, Chaz held <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/td.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and saw the golden flop of <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/9d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> complete his nut straight. \u00a0He was only heads-up by the time the turn came down, the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> even opening up the flush draw for him. \u00a0His opponent raised all-in and Chaz called quickly, happy to see his enemy turn over <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/9c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> for two-pair. \u00a0Miles behind, he thinks. \u00a0I just need to hold.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Six!&#8221; calls the plucky gentleman who needs the board to pair to find the full house. \u00a0And there it is. The <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> drops on the river and Chaz ends his Flight 3 day in time for an early night.<\/p>\n<p>Ask yourself &#8211; how often has that worked for you?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Level 6 &#8211; Blinds 300\/600\/75 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kara Doubles Through&#8230;Matt Damon?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kara Scott is still in this Flight 3 and with very few players who made it through both flights still alive, she may be one of a select band of players who survive\u00a0<em>all three flights. \u00a0<\/em>Kara is obviously a very good player (you simply do not post her results while being the face of televised poker unless you know what you&#8217;re doing) but that would be some achievement for an &#8216;accumulator newbie&#8217;&#8230;if she can do it.<\/p>\n<p>Her Flight 3 life was on the line when she ran a little short with just 10,000 chips to her name and shoved into the K-K of her opponent.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My ace got there.&#8221; Kara sighed. &#8220;I felt really bad, he seems a really nice guy.&#8221; Another player at the table remarked to us at that point that her downbeat opponent, forced to grind it back up from a micro-stack, looked a bit like Matt Damon, the Rounders actor. \u00a0Kara agreed. Her opponent beamed, his life all of a sudden not looking so bad.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kara Scott thinks you look like Matt Damon &#8211; your life just got better.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We think he agrees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Van de Weyer Gone But Will Return <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/vandewnj\/status\/439499736308264960<\/p>\n<p>He survived those two chaps, with Ian Frazer having busted, but it didn&#8217;t last much longer&#8230;.and yet we&#8217;ll welcome him to Day 2 tomorrow. \u00a0If you&#8217;re confused, don&#8217;t be.<\/p>\n<p>Nick Van de Weyer has busted here on Flight 3 of the WPT \u00a0UK National Event in London, but had already made it through to day 2 from Flight 1, so all he has failed to do today is add to his stack. \u00a0He was &#8216;on fumes&#8217; partypoker Sit n Go at 6.00pm, and won it, gaining herself a \u00a3200 seat into tonight&#8217;s final flight of the WPT National Event here in London. \u00a0 She&#8217;s making good use of that ticket thus far, and we watched her play a hand to see how she was getting on. \u00a0Pre-flop, Katje raised to 575 and was raised to 2300. \u00a0She and one other player called and the three players saw a flop of <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/4c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> . One player checked, with another in mid-position betting out 1k. \u00a0Only Katje called. \u00a0The turn brought the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ks.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and both players checked to the river, a <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ts.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. \u00a0Katje again called, this time to the tune of 2700. \u00a0Her opponent mucked, so Katje won the hand without showdown, and rakes a nice-size pot. \u00a0She&#8217;s up to 25,000 from her 20k starting stack.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5em\">Kassouf Calls Off A Chunk<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Will Kassouf is undoubtedly the loudest player at most tables he plays, and we only say not all because he&#8217;s not in the kind of buy-ins that Phil Hellmuth is often! \u00a0He&#8217;s a quality player too, however, and processed a hand just now for a very long time.<\/p>\n<p>We joined the action with a pot of 12k after will made a long call with two other players involved. \u00a0The board read <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qs.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/4d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> at the time, and once Will was in for an extra 3500, the river came a <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> . \u00a0That prompted a big bet from the aggressor to his right. \u00a07k of his 9,000 stack made it into the middle &#8211; an odd amount given his stack-size. \u00a0Will thought and thought about it. \u00a0He eyed his opponent, he calculated his stack, he re-checked his cards twice and then thrice. \u00a0He eventually called&#8230;and was instantly show \u00a0the bad news. \u00a0The other player involved snap-folded the river, but the gentleman who bet 7k out of 9k flipped <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> for flopped trips.
