Time to take my own advice! Last week, I used my blog to share some top tips<\/a> for those people who are on the road with poker and this week, I\u2019m the one traveling. I\u2019m in Campione, Switzerland to play the WPT National event.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, Campione is close enough to where I live in Italy to make it possible to drive here, which meant no airplane pyjamas were needed this time. My brother-in-law to be was kind enough to do all the driving, so I was free to sit in the back of the car, eat snacks and watch WSOP Main Event videos on my iPad. Not a bad way to travel.<\/p>\n

The journey also gave me a little time to do some research. Although the Casino is in Campione, we\u2019re staying at a beautiful hotel on the lake in Lugano, only a short drive away. When we checked in, the woman at the desk told us that we were lucky to get ourselves a lake-facing room, and boy was she right. The view is absolutely stunning. People swim in the lake during the warmer months but as it\u2019s October, I\u2019ll content myself with just taking in the peaceful lake from the safety & warmth of the balcony.<\/p>\n

While I\u2019m here in Switzerland, this is my list of things to do (including playing poker<\/a> obviously).<\/p>\n
