Phil Laak has become the first casualty of Group B Heat 3 after getting his chips in good against Talal Shakerchi.<\/p>\n

Tobias Reinkemeier opened with and he was called in three spots. First, Shakerchi called with , Laak called with and Dan Shak called with .<\/p>\n

The quartet saw the flop come down and the action checked to Shakerchi who led for 20,000. Laak raised to 60,000 and this raise folded everyone out, except Shakerchi. After a brief pause, Shakerchi moved all in and Laak snap-called.<\/p>\n

The kept Laak ahead but he needed to dodge a seven or a diamond to stay alive and avoid picking up the dreaded bagel. The river was the , improving Shakerchi to trips and resigning Laak to eighth place.<\/p>\n

Laak has seven points in total and need a big result on Friday to progress to the finale.<\/p>\n
