Chip Counts<\/h3>\n

So that was level three, 21 hands of big moves, huge chip movement and some more ribbing of Phil Hellmuth. It was a great level for Sam Trickett, the Brit added 192,000 to his stack. And heading into level 4 of this heat it’s Trickett who leads as blinds go 4,000 – 8,000 ante 1,000.<\/p>\n

The players chip stacks are as below. The +\/- figure in brackets is their profit\/loss since the end of the last level and the big blind figure is how many they have for the current level.<\/p>\n

Good level for<\/h3>\n

Sam Trickett<\/strong> The Brit flopped a set of threes on a flop and played it beautifully. He bet 15,000, Jungleman check-raised to 45,000 with , Trickett clicked it back to 80,000, Jungleman followed suit making it 115,000 and Trickett smooth called. The came on the turn and Jungleman check-folded to a bet of 32,000<\/p>\n

Antonio Esafandiari<\/strong> The Magician’s Premier League was on the line when he was all-in and at risk against Scott Seiver. He doubled up (see below) and went from eighth to third in chips, he’ll be hoping for a top three finish.<\/p>\n

Bad level for <\/h3>\n

Jungleman<\/strong> Not only did he lose a big pot to Sam Trickett (see above) but he also acted out of turn on at least two occasions. Having already received a warning (from the players) he acted out of turn again and got a one hand penalty. When he did it again he got a one round penalty, that punishment was estimated by Phil Laak to have cost Jungleman roughly $1,600.<\/p>\n

Daniel Negreanu<\/strong> Anything but the dense, chewy circular breaded product for Daniel and he’s pretty much a lock to finish in the top five and from there a good shot at getting into the final. But to be in it to win it he’s going to have to get his game on in the next level.<\/p>\n

Hand of the level <\/h3>\n

Had he lost this hand Antonio Esfandiari’s Premier League would’ve been all but over…<\/p>\n

Pre-flop Antonio three-bet with and Scott Seiver called with . On the flop he c-bet 41,000 into a 71,000 pot, Scott Seiver then set him all-in for 149,000 in total and Esfandiari went deep into the tank.<\/p>\n

“Do you want some good will?” asked Esfandiari to Seiver, the latter said something back to Esfandiari and whatever he picked up it was enough to make Esfandiari call. The board ran out and his hand held and he holds on to a shot at making the final.<\/p>\n

“Wow Hellmuth might find a hero fold here. He can find a fold, he’s a pro.” Phil Laak<\/p>\n

“He always stands up when he’s going to fold, he then sits back down, then he folds and he steams or he’s happy.” Jennifer Tilly<\/p>\n

Both about Phil Hellmuth in a hand where he had three-bet with pocket nines only to face an all-in bet from Marvin Rettenmaier. The 13 time bracelet winner tanked for over five minutes, called out Rettenmaier’s exact hand but still folded.<\/p>\n
