For those that don’t know, the first player out get 0 points, commonly known as ‘the bagel’ due to their similarity in shape. May told me before the start of play that the bagel is the first heat is usually a harbinger of doom. “Last year Ben Wilinofsky and Luke Schwartz got the bagel in the opening heats and they both got relegated.”<\/p>\n
