Combes started playing poker seven years ago while, like many before him, he was studying at University. One night he left his bar job early, decided to buy into a $50 rebuy tournament online and \u201csomehow won it for $10k.\u201d That bar job became redundant the very next day.<\/p>\n<p>Our qualifier won his seat to WPT National London at the first attempt, winning a $320 buy-on satellite on PartyPoker, and he is hoping to hit it big on the live scene for the first time. Although Combes has $65,000 in live tournament winnings, he is the first to admit that he is predominately an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/\">online poker<\/a> specialist.<\/p>\n<p>Despite his obvious poker skills, Combes is looking outside of poker for his future. Any big scores he has are going to be invested in a number of business ideas he has, including getting onto the property ladder.
